Okayyyy the Storyboard was actually finished shortly after Dorado / was already in the works during Dorado so this has been a long time coming!

I don't really know for sure, but I think maybe he was cursed or someone stronger threatened him to hurt his clan or her and the kittens, maybe someone related with the guy who took his position in the clan? So instead of accepting someone else using him to hurt his loved ones, he just asked to be killed instead, not from anyone, but killed from the cat he loved the most and she did it even if she loved him the most because it was what him wanted.

Oh wow, the emotions. Icepeak's life is such a tragic one, being asked by the one she loves most to help... you know. Icepeak is one of my favorite characters in this series as far as I've seen. She has such a tragic story, and deep, agonizing emotions, grief, and guilt. It seems that Maroonstrike also was not around often, and never really gave Icepeak much attention, but from what I can see, he still loved her, which is good. Although, his reasoning for making the decision he did is still foreign to me. Will we be able to know nore about that or has it already been stated and i just havent seen it? Riptidesmith also seems to have a bad relationship with Maroonstrike, and could have had a role in his decision? This story is such an intriguing one, and I for one am invested. Can't wait to see more.

The lip sync at the end really was the cherry on top of this beautifully heartbreaking masterpiece. The emotions and contemplation of her decision at the end was hard to watch, the colors and frames fit so well with the mood and music. Great job on this project, should be very proud of yourself!!

I found you through this video, fell in love with the character, character designs, beautiful animation, and the story behind it from what I could tell. Had to go back and watch the others than rewatch this one. This is definitely my favorite. As for the story, from what I could tell, it seems like (sorry still don’t know the names) but the dad must’ve learned what the mark on his paw meant and maybe saw it as a curse or destruction for the clan or something and decided to ask the mom to kill him so it wouldn’t happen. And that’s why him and the snaggle tooth walked in injured together, and why the father immediately ran away. The snaggle tooth I think knows something and is trying to push the marked one into fullfilling whatever that prophecy is. Probably tried convincing the dad to do it and the dad having a good heart probably fought back in retaliation. Once the son was born and had that same mark, that’s probably why mom left the kit and snaggle tooth took over. Mom knew what it meant and couldn’t emotionally deal with it while snaggle tooth wanted to raise the kit into trusting them, that way they could easily take control of the prophecy or whatever. When mom tried to tell her son, he was raised by snaggletooth who raised him into thinking his dad was a true hero and nothing about what happened after that. When mom tried telling her son, and probably wanted to warn him what the mark meant, he couldn’t handle all of the emotions from the news and accidentally pushed her off the cliff.

You can really tell she was suffering BAD, Marroonstrike was forced to leave because if he didn’t his father would be the cause of his demise. Glacierpeak knew her partner was in mortal danger either way and did what had to be done for the cat she loved, if she didn’t he’d just suffer to. SHES SO SAD AND I FEEL SO BAD FOR HER, Tbh I thought the Grandfather was going to be the cause of her death. I hate him either way though. theory time! SO- in this we see that something happened that cause Maroonstrike to leave the clan and flee. I believe this is because of the small animated thing we got, the 24-hour AMV challenge, Birds with Broken Wings! It included Riptidesmith attacking and attempting to kill Maroonstrike on the orders of Roseeater (the eyes that popped up) which I believe is also tied to the paw markings. These markings hold some sort of meaning to Roseeater, and he's shared part of that meaning with Riptidesmith, causing Riptidesmith to target Tailwind and train him as he grows up as seen in the Dorado PMV! These markings must mean sometiming with battle strength, as that's what Maroonstrike was, and also was Riptidesmith was training Tailwind to become, leading to Tailwind's battle with the bear in Alone With My Thoughts, leading to him leaving the clan for an extended period of time. He returns for a while but cant seem to fit back in, and becomes the job for hire rogue we see in The Wolf MAP part! EDIT- also, the markings hold some power because the meaning of the markings is why Icepeak was convinced to help Maroonstrike end his life. I also believe that Maroonstrike wasn't aware Icepeak was pregnant at the time, potentially his death was a mixture of him not wanting to be exploited by evil forces but also not wanting to pass on this mark to any young?

ADSJFJFSGHJIRYNUSHKW I'M BLOWN AWAY?!?! This is so amazing, the storytelling, the expressions, the tweening just AMAZING!! Anyway, it's theory time now. >:3 I like that Icesong, the main character in this one, was in love with the dude who she killed which was her boyfriend/husband. He asked her to kill him because he was too op and the clan kept asking him to fight for them and he was fed up. Also that dude with half the messed up face (who I think is the dad of Icesong but maybe not) he was mad at the husband since he got his face messed up and he wasn't being protected because the hubby was trying to heal from his injuries OR he was trying to defeat him in a fight from that other 24 hours challenge amv. Anyway, the kid at the end yelling at Icesong, I'm pretty sure is her son who she didn't connect with until very recently and he pushed her off in the last one because he was pissed about Icesong saying that she killed his dad but regrets lashing out (obviously because she's just fell off a cliff). Some extra bit is that, I think the op dad came to Icesong in the night after he was fighting that bear in the other animatic and asked her to kill him by opening up his other wound that made him almost die and he didn't wanna live with doing everyone else's fighting because of the paw thingy. Also his son has the paw thingy which the messed up face guy saw and wanted to use for himself which is why he attacked the maxed level husband but it didn't end up well for him so now he's just gonna manipulate/influence the screamy kid with the op mark. (Why these theories always so long?)

I don't think I've ever felt so moved by any other warriors ocs in my life, all the guilt, the pain, the fear is so real and so raw and it really makes me sympathize with Icepeak even more because of everything she lost, and her price for telling the truth was being told by her son that he hated her then knocked from a cliff and impaled, I can't even imagine how broken inside she felt as she fell to her death...

I’ve watched it what 3 times now? A few things. Eye anatomy is so good on the falling shots, with the placement of everything it’s so easy to forget or just not do. Attention to detail is amazing, expressions are amazing, song choices are amazing. Color palette I haven’t looked too much into but most of the other cats are pale or dark fur, while the focus characters are red and lilac / blue. Another beautiful piece of work.

i have loved these series of videos with these OCs, your animations are just fucking amazing. the conflicting emotions are shown so well, and i especially like how you 'anthropomorphize' their body language too because it helps but doesnt feel unnatural. oh and tiny detail- the way you make the pupils set back a little is great, its a thing i always see mentioned for drawing eyes and i always just forget about it haha, i think i rarely see it from people in general (not like its a problem), kind of forget how much it changes the impression and depth of the eyes. following their story like this has been so interesting too because it is pretty cohesive. though i think one element i have been missing (prob not helped by how far in between i have watched these lol) is the paw mark thats come up? not sure if you (op) would answer or if anyone else has tied that together thatd want to tell me :P
