I like J Cole's speech so much I haven't been through terrible stuff but I've been through two of my pets dying, suicidal thoughts from bullying, and I've been in about 6 fights all that and I'm only 13 I know people go throw so much more. I think we protect babies from pain because we know from experience what damage pain can cause and it’s just instinctive now to protect people that haven’t experienced too much pain. On the other side they still need to grow and find their footing in this world and they’ll be in more pain. Many of our parents sometimes wonder if they let us down and I don’t think so, life is an opportunity and no one ever said it was gonna be easy.
