I like this series a lot! It gets us more in your mind and if I'm not that into one of the concepts here, I know it's not the whole video and also the series is literally about DRAWING WHAT YOU WANT so the fact you wanna draw kinda weird things is fine! Wait wait i have a backstory idea for pariah!! So, You said pariah couldnt grow plants and was orphaned when she was little and she didnt know anyrhing of her family. But What if she didnt have a family? Basically, she wasnt born, but made in a lab! But something went wrong in the proccess and she was an unsuccesful experiment. Seeing her as a failure, the scientist threw her out into the wild! She then started living in the forest/town you mentioned. But beacuse she couldnt grow plants, didnt have a family and came out of nowhere the townsfolk didnt welcome her! You can also make her bad at socialising, at getting social clues and connecting with others etc. Since she never saw the comfort or support of a family i'd imagine she didnt know how to act "properly" The reason for her experiment could be the following ones: - to create a specimen that can control all plants - to create a specimen that can that can destroy all plants no matter the power - to create a new life, and with it a new plant. Or they could be trying to make a being that can cure a disease, or make something else for their own desires Oh oh and what if after a few years she sees someone new at the forest and that person is actually the new, succesful experiment. But they were thrown out like pariah after they did their job (like curing the disease of someone, or creating a new plant the scientists wanted etc. Etc.) then pariah and the succesful experiment try to find the reason for this, and the story is about how they save the world from the selfish scientist, what they tried to revive and for pariah to learn what she is!! Obviously these are my ideas and you dont have to ise them but i would be thrilled if you used them or made a comic abt pariah!! Also sorry if i wrote too much i tend to imagine alot when it comes to these :D

It’s so true, you don’t realize how much you use electricity until it’s gone. I am SO incredibly glad and relieved that you didn’t have a fire. What a blessing. And in my experience of the power going out, I always loved staying awake in the candle light. I don’t know why, but it’s always been so appealing to me (not the staying awake part though, haha). I think my favorites from this video are the silhouette of the girl walking through the forest and the sketch page/spread of you characters. Sullivan was sooo cute! But Chip… ugh! I love it so much. 😍 It all looks really nice though. I sometimes wonder how you’re able to go from not knowing what you want to draw, to somehow drawing something really cool and/or interesting from nothing. You have my applause.

I really enjoyed your sketchy style in the beginning with the girl in the woods and the shimmering shiney boy. I think my favorite piece is a toss up between the girl in the woods and the No Signal television head. Both broke the canvas in cool. ways and had a very pronounced asthetic!
