Rasulullah s.a.w. had seen the punishments of Hell during Mi'raj and he said that the punishments of the Grave are more terrifying? Are you sure that you are not misquoting or misunderstanding what Rasulullah S.A.W. said? Rasulullah S.A.W. had once said: مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ (“Whosoever tells a lie against me intentionally then surely let him occupy his seat in Hell-Fire”) - Sahih al-Bukhari, 107 or مَنْ يَقُلْ عَلَىَّ مَا لَمْ أَقُلْ فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ ("Whoever (intentionally) ascribes to me what I have not said then (surely) let him occupy his seat in Hell-Fire.") - Sahih al-Bukhari, 109. I hope that what was said at the end is not deliberately misquoting Rasulullah S.A.W. or saying something that he did not said or mean in the fervour / excitement of trying to give this sermon.
