I am really concerned about the way allah hamd ul lillah means allah praise of allah its meaningless it's al-hamdu-lilah ال حمد لله al + hamd + lilah the last word is lam + lam + ha Lilah has lam + (kasrah harakat) + lam (kasrah harakat) = ha (no harakat). Harakat are optional vowel markings. Allah has an extra alif it's alif + lam + lam + ha Alif is succeeded by lam + (fathah harakat) which is succeeded by lam + (fathah + harakat al shaddah (al means not only the but also of in arabic so this means harakat of shaddah)) This is different. Al hamdu lilah. Is the (al) praise (hamdu) l (for) ilah (god) the praise (is) to god this is the literal translation but this seems a little inappropriate grammatically in english this is because Arabic grammar is not the same as english grammar and its words carry multiple meanings. While this is grammatically correct in arabic. In english it's a little weird. so it's, "praise be to god", by the convention of english grammar rather than the praise (is) to god. Even the is added as arabic doesn't have the verb be. So it's added. it's also weirder if you know that for and to are used interchangeably in arabic as they have the same word ل (l) for them. So it could also be praise (be) for god instead. Also it's not asalanwa'alaykum this Is completely meaningless and incorrect this comes from a mispronunciation wa is represented by و or السلام عليكم وَ doesn't have waaw any where rather the optional vowel marks harakat places dumah over mim which is always u not w. Although w and u have the same letter in arabic u as through waaw letter rather sound is almost always more extended or separated so it can be spotted. Asalamu 'alaikum clearly bas the mu sound joined together so it ends up sounding like "muh as in the Hindi word for mouth with a sent h". If it was with waaw and not with harakat it would sound like as salamuu 'alaykum with emphasis and u and being treated as a different letter. I am not sure yet again. There is no harakat equivalent for w sound as it's not a vowel so how could someone mistake it? Must be from bad arabic reading I learnt arabic basics and am still learning as a side quest but this is the basics. You are completely changing the meaning of words the peace and upon you is a meaningless phrase by definition but that's what asalam wa alaykum means its meaningless it's assalamu alaykum or peace be upon you wa in means and in arabic. These are major mistakes if you said taslim like this your prayer would be invalid had it not been out of ignorance. Or forgetfulness which would require prostration of forgetfulness provided you realise after completing the prayer not before because that would invalidate the prayer itself. And allah hamdu lilah yet again when you recite fatihah this is a major mistake and it invalidates the prayer had it not been due to ignorance. You also, mentioned something about your daughter. Which means you are of praying age. hence, it is compulsory for you to pray my friend I recommend you to learn to read arabic. Just learn the basics no need to learn all rules of tajweed just know abjad. That doesn't take even a week to learn if you devote half an hour a day.v

imagine a person who is illiterate, cannot read and cannot write, living in the middle of the desert (never once traveled the world) talking about the two oceans colliding, the root of a mountain, the process of womb to infancy, historical events that are accurate, future events that are happening right now, all of that in the form of high literature arab filled with rhymes and no grammatical error 1400 years ago before the advent of technology and science.
