Joe proposed because he felt he had to not cause he truly was ready. He says if he wanted to keep his family that’s what he had to do. Everybody blaming Joe but Cyn was literally not doing shit while living in his house. She was trying to find what she wanted to do which is fine but then she should’ve kept that the focus instead of constantly begging for sex and time which is what happens when you sit around everyday doing nothing. Since ppl keep bringing up Tahiry, I’ll say this. Tahiry always hustled and made her own way and her own money. I think joe respected her more as a person and to some extent as a mate. I think he thought he’d find Tahiry in Cyn and realized quick that she’s not Tahiry but he stayed cause Cyn is fun. I don’t think he saw himself growing with Cyn and Cyn seems like she was more interested in being the “one” who got him to “treat her right” vs looking at herself on figuring out why she’s so attached to a person who still seems somewhat toxic.
