It's something very authentic about Karlie when she is with her daughter. Just seeing them together, looking so much alike just warms my heart. I can't wait until this is my girls and myself. I know her mom helped raise her and it left Jasmine feeling neglected by her mom, but I wish them nothing but the best. My hope is that now they can make up for the time that wasn't spent. Because I can tell Karlie loves her daughter and Jasmine loves her. Being a mom, you are constantly judged and forced to be "perfect", and dad gets away with no judgement and the freedom to live his life. Everyone needs support though. I'm so happy I have a mom that helps me with my kids. Not saying she should have left Jas fulltime with her mom but being a single mom of 3 with a special needs son, I definitely understand. My mom gets my girls 3 days out the week, sometimes 4; so, that I can focus on my son and when I tell you it helps me so much. Wishing you and Jasmine a beautiful relationship Karlie.

I definitely understand Karlie and Jasmine's side of seeing thing. As a single mother its hard because everything is on you. To make sure your child is nurtured, supported and financed. Sometimes that means you have to work even harder and miss things. I gave up a career to make sure I can be there when she wakes up and sleep. For Jasmine she resents that her mom had to work so hard and miss out on so much of her growing up. Now that shes older its hard for her to see what Karlie had to do because she carry this anger of being absent.

I feel Jasmine's pain. My mom struggled with addiction and I stopped living with her around two years old... Then I wasn't allowed to see her.. I did maybe only a handful of times until I turned 16 and was able to just see her myself.. I loved my mom she was my best friend... She sadly lost her battle to addiction a little over two months before I gave birth to my first daughter. I miss her so much. I wish she was here I miss her so much. I wish she was her to meet her grandbabies.. things will never be the same

Jasmine's grandmother raised her, took the place if both mother and father. I won't go so far as to say that Karlie is a bad mother but she wasn't a mother when her daughter, her only child needed mothering and I'm sure it hurt her daughter when Karlie was trying to have a baby by her the man she was married to, when she wasn't there for the one child she already had and all the material items or whatever Karlie may of handed her daughter, didn't take the place of the mother she needed in her life, so Karlie trying to control what yer grown daughter does now as an adult, is going to effect their relationship in a negative way. Jazmine was already raised until she was an adult and doesnt need raised any further, there's no way to turn back the hand of time yet the best thing Karlie could do in order to repair their relationship is be there as a mother, when her daughter asks for advice, needs to confide in her mother etc. not dress, act and move like a thot and then tell her grown daughter not to do, exactly what she's doing at her age. I'm not judging, what they do or don't do has no effect on my life or anyone elses lives on KZbin but calling it as I see it, still a child or grown, our kids see everything we do, don't do and learn better when lead by example not, do as I say not as I do. I wish them both the very very best and pray their relationship heals ❣️

Biggest lesson I learned is that all we have is the present moment. My mother was distant as well when I was younger. As I grew up, I understood why she was working so hard and I had to forgive her. She had me so young and I couldn’t even imagine being a mother at my age. When I forgave her, I saw that she was there for me in ways that I didn’t understand as a kid. I respect her for being able to hold it together through all she’s gone through. I pray that Jasmine forgives Karlie and honor her as a mother 💗 there’s no stronger bond than mother-daughter 💪🏽

I had to go about 5-6 years without my mum when she moved to the UO before we joined her. Our relationship was so strained for a bit but now as an adult I 100% understand the sacrifices my mum made for us. We never lacked for anything unfortunately that meant she had to be unavailable sometimes but it’s just life. She did so well now me and her are the bestest of friends and mother and daughter.
