I hear you on missing live concerts. I miss that slightly-nervous anticipation of knowing the performers you paid to see are about to take the stage, that swell of energy of when the lights go down and you know it's time . . . ah, I love it. Basic gear breakdown for this song: Miyako is playing a Dean USA Icon through a Peavey 6505+ amp and an Orange cab. Midori is playing an ESP E-II Horizon FR through a Kemper amp/profiler and Marshall cab. Miho is playing an ESP Amaze through a Darkglass Electronics combo. Haruna plays Pearl and Sabian. Oh, and you asked about Miyako's wah pedal. She uses the Dunlop J95 John Petrucci Cry Baby.

Edge of the world, Break the wall, Shadowmaker studio, live. Burden of time, live studio. All great songs. Yes this is the opening song of this show. This song they wear their jackets, but then take them off. I love their jackets. Wait until you hear Winds of Trannsylvannia, Midori the blond guitarist works a Floydrose tremolo, like no other, squeals, bombs. And Miyako blasts tapping runs. You may love Scream for me, live studio, and Burden of time, live studio. Both from first album re-recorded back in October for anniversary. Great taking them in in normal clothes, close up. Miyako plays Dean guitars, and a Les Paul. Nemophila another great band. Song Dissension live. Incredible .

IMHO, they truly are the saviors of heavy metal. All of them are fantastic musicians and they are quite experienced since they all have been in other bands previous like; DESTROSE (legendary band), Sonic Lover Reckless, 21g and Asami who's been singing with artists like VAMPS, UVERworld and even as a backup singer for AKB48

And so different in their styles! From what i can understand in the tweet it seems they get together to try each others gear and talk about their drumming and techniques. More LOVEBITEs please, amazing band! 🤘🙂🤘

Hey Wave, perhaps the Miyako has a wahwah with some kind of digital device in it to adjust the scope of the tone sweep, if there is such a thing , or she has adjusted it on the cogs to favour the upper mids to lower mids.. What you think ?????
@WavePotter3 жыл бұрын
That would be awesome! There's definitely a very tasty frequency range in that sweep. People have told me that it's the Jim Dunlop John Petrucci JP95 signature wah. So i'm guessing JP had a hand in crafting this specific range.

@athlonen3 жыл бұрын
This song was written by the bassist, Miho. She came up with the idea after seeing Slayer performing live at Download Festival last year. Their entire catalog gives the vibe of classic 1980s power metal and thrash.. except that they do it better than all of those older bands combined, plus do it in heels.
@excellentrecruiter58243 жыл бұрын
Miyako is all about Dean and wood grain.

That was an 1 hour and 45 minute test drive in a Lamborghini at top speed on the open road.....meaning total exhilaration!!!! Haruna/drums never ceases to amaze the drum pros, you forget sometimes just how amazing she is with all the talent in this band and how little Shine Time her and Miho/bass get. But they don't care cause they drive this band from start to finish. Great reaction and nice points of interest. They ditched the Sgt Peppers straight-jackets and really cut loose after this intro. This band produces more energy than your local utility and they feed off their fans that they truly love. The Wolf-Pack is poised to explode if we can just get back to LIVE shows, I can't imagine how these women don't cause an earthquake when they perform in South America especially with those crazy Argentinians and Brazilians especially.

I am a little leery (haven't watched it yet)... your last Band Maid (Secret My Lips) react had... just a little TOO much pausing (like the song couldn't even play 10 seconds without a pause). Not trying to be "one of those" as I appreciate pauses, breakdowns, etc, but when they are THAT constant, I feel it detracts from both the song and the reaction/breakdown. And sometimes it's even ok to talk over stuff like the intro to this song. I know it's a hard balance to hit and people will compalin probably either way. I love the info and knowledge you share mate. Please don't think I don't. But I had to quit halfway through that reaction out of frustration. Just trying to give some hopefully useful critique. If I didn't think your videos contained a lot of value, I wouldn't even bring it up and would jsut move on. As for other songs from Lovebites? The studio live for SHADOWMAKER from the live from Abyss 2020 DVD is great, as is any live performances of Break the Wall or Don't Bite the Dust.
@killerpeaches73 жыл бұрын
and as an aside, after watching, this reaction was much improved. Felt a little blasphemous to pause mid solo, but will try not to hold that against you. ;)
