for me the most impressive thing about Asami, the singer, is that prior to 2016 she was RnB and Soul singer that didn't knew anything about Metal music; Miyako (left stage guitar) even told the story on an interview that on their first days she was explaining something to Asami and gave as examples Metallica and Judas Priest, Asami just looked at her and ask "what's that?"; And look at her now....

Asami, the vocalist, started out as r and b, blues, jazz singer and trained in the US for a couple of years where she learnt to speak English. In an interview she said that when she heard Rob Halford of JP sing she was converted to metal.

They all play multiple instruments and are insanely talented on each. Best power metal band playing LIVE and that says it all. Haruna, the 4' 8' drummer is a beast that drives this band from start to finish and is the only one not in high heels(LOL)!!! Asami, the vocalist has become a great front woman for this band and they are getting better having only been together for 4 years!!!! Check out anything they have done LIVE you will not be disappointed. Can't imagine the boy bands could play this well in high heels for 2 hours (LOL)!!!!!

I have seen JP and Maiden in concert live, in their prime. These women are as good, no question, maybe better. As someone mentioned the tracks Edge Of The World, Swan Song, Epilogue down below, those are some favorites.

The crazy thing is that the drummer is small as heck... I noticed that she's not highly animated or doesn't seem to put 100% on the kit... but when someone told me that the gig was 1 hour and 45 minutes long, it made perfect sense. It's not "being boring" it's being efficient, very, very efficient. I mean she has to keep that level of drumming up for that long as a small woman, she can't be wasting any energy on anything unnecessary... But still the sound of the drums doesn't suffer from that at all... That's a professional right there.

Yassss! Keep going, you have just scratched the surface of their talent. They studied all the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Slayer etc. and they pretty much aced it all. Now I’d say they’re taking it to another level. Ok, you did one of the ones several of us suggested. Here are three more: "Thunder Vengeance" (Thrash, smokes Metallica IMHO): kzbin.info/www/bejne/r4ioaIOneNV6n5Y "Swan Song" (Ending will short your brain): kzbin.info/www/bejne/h4aqdIRne7l1Zsk "Empty Daydream" Starts slow, then blasts off: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oonLkKiDgp5noLc

You mentioned you would love to see them cover a Judas Preist song. They now have a cover of Painkiller. You can find it online, but it is only the song, no performance right now.

Keep doing Live they are amazing! At just about 4'9 height Haruna the drummer is the shortest member in the band but don't let that fool you, she is a monster behind the kit, she's been playing since age 3 if im not mistaken. Some suggestions: Edge of the World, Hammer of Wrath, Break the Wall, Swan Song, Epilogue, all LIVE! Stay safe!

@@SDPBandReactions Another great reaction to LOVEBITES including the recognition of Haruna's drumming and stamina. Though this is the second song of the show, she doesn't lose anything right through to the last song, We The United, while smiling into the camera for us! They are all so talented and play together, so tight, literally immaculate in their performances shows the dedication to practice, practice, practice. I believe all five play piano/keyboards. Midori (blond guitarist) didn't start playing guitar until age 20, so less than 10 years. Haruna, co-founder didn't begin drumming until age 14, so maybe 14 years, writes songs on keyboard. I don't know about Miho's bass beginnings, but she is multi-instrumentalist, co-founder/leader, most dedicated to the 'classic' Metal bands, and shows-off her collection of several hundred Heavy Metal T-shirts on Instagram (you ought to follow!), openly speaks of emulating Steve Harris, founder of Iron Maiden, and wrote a song paying homage to "Aces High" titled "The Crusade" (avoid "KZbin Version" It's cut). Miyako (dark haired guitarist/pianist), age 3 piano, age 18 guitar, so about 12 years on guitar. Does a significant amount of composing. Asami studied and performed ballet and jazz dance (some in USA) before singing R&B/Soul (back in Japan. some u2b vids) then submitted a 'demo' that got her into LOVEBITES. Thanks for promoting LOVEBITES!
Proof that Japan, is from a different planet! I get worn out looking at Midori, Miho and Miyako. The speed and precision is amazing. Especially the consistency of the muted string gallop sound that both Midori or Miyako make. Miho, plays her bass like she is just at home in front of a mirror having some fun with exaggerated bass guitar movements and poses, let alone playing on stage wearing heels and walking about!
