Midori is a great guitarist and entertainer, she loves to interact with the audience. She is my shred queen! Her antics reminds me of Ōmura Takayoshi from the Kami band. I agree with Rune Lund on reacting to the song A frozen serenade.

Possibly the lack of mosh-pit is that the attendees are more interested in watching these phenomenal musicians/beautiful women perform this music than their interest in slamming their bodies into each other and missing "the show". Also, noticed the lack of 'phones' taking video. It seems people (in Japan at least) go to see LOVEBITES to SEE LOVEBITES above any other reason. I am very grateful for the high audio and video production quality, but I still long to be present in that 'crowd' at their feet...

Photography is generally prohibited at Japanese concerts. There are signs all over the venues saying no cameras, no phones, and security people enforcing it. Intellectual property is rigorously enforced by copyright holders in Japan. There are a few exceptions, but it's not specific to Lovebites or their fans.

@@satomiwa Thank you. Do you have any knowledge or ideas on the lack of "mosh pits" at shows?
@satomiwa3 жыл бұрын
@@dregeye Normally you buy tickets via a lottery, and if you win, you're assigned a seat, so that's where you stay. Fans are a fair distance away from each other, there aren't people squeezed together or jockying for better position, so moshing's kind of out of the question. People in Japan are there to enjoy the music, whereas in the West people are there to have more of a party-like experience. A lot of it has to do with social cohesion really, it would be rude to be running around slamming into people who are there to enjoy watching and listening.

@@satomiwa Thank you very much. You have answered questions many have asked in comments about audience behavior in the live videos. I am more in the 'attention to the band' type and have enjoyed many shows since the 1960s. A LOVEBITES live show is a "quest" for me. The more I learn, the more I like Japanese society, and music. LOVEBITES lyrics are what really draw-me-in, their musicianship is unsurpassed and each, their beauty is undeniable. A joy, a meaningful experience.

@@dregeye You're welcome. Lovebites are my favourite band right now. I was never really a "metal" guy, so that's kind of weird, I guess. I can hardly believe a band this good exists.

What I love about their songs it's like riding a roller coaster, twists and turns, up and down, so many changeups but the melody remains the same for each song. I think there are no pits because they are all mesmerized by how gorgeous they are in person, bwhahahahahaha. Anyway another awesome reaction buddy, you're the only reactor who has truly been loyal to bands you admire and respect, what are you on 21 songs already damn it I love this channel. Oh boy, I hope you have luck in finding the full concerts

Thanks for watching and showing us M.D.O. ! As a drummer, I am mesmerized by this song, by Haruna's ability to keep it together when for me it's like running downhill, trying to keep from falling on my face. The melodic shift during the guitar-harmony duet followed by the breakdown, concluding with that double-hit muted cymbal... Just superb! Of course we get Midori's captivating stances and solo followed by Miyako's wah solo and then, at 4:53 (your video) Miyako's head movements indicating how 'into it' she is. I love this song, and Miho's lyrical message is quite timely for today's world. "Betrayals don't ever come from your enemies" inspires unending contemplation... as do many of the one-liners in these verses. Most devastating observations, indeed! I hope to watch you watching "Under The Red Sky": kzbin.info/www/bejne/gXTLhWOHm9qbgac

Asami, has become the perfect front woman for this group!! She is a great vocalist but she now commands the stage and the crowd from start to finish and interacts with them at every turn. The backbone of this song like all of their works has a wicked Miho/bass and that lead footed speed driving of Haruna/drums. M & M as always are the dynamic duo here and the perfect blend of Midori/Flash and Shred and Miyako/Techie,Tones and Harmonics. You can see why Midori is so loved as she can't help interacting with the crowd throughout the entire show and they clearly respond to all her moves. M & M harmonize LIVE better than any other duo out there today. Lastly, great reaction and the head banging metal-head Miho just puts a exclamation point on that dark 80's metal, she is such a metal-head child of the 80's!!!!!

LOVEBITES - M.D.O. lyrics: After came the permanent disaster A tragic neurological disorder Turning me into a crazy monster Inverting what I see to be imposters “Never have I seen this” said the doctor Observing my condition and I wonder Beauty’s in the eye of the beholder But maybe it’s because of my disorder Burning me to sin Is this salvation? Deceive those who are seeking truth Believe only the justice in you Naive thinking will lead to doom Betrayals don’t ever come from your enemies M.D.O. Turning me to rust Is this damnation? So free, blinded by ugly truth Agree only to your point of view Defeat bigotry and its rules Don’t trust what you see, but believe your enemies M.D.O.

Making it look easy again 😀 The Lovebites ladies deserve all the respect for breaking into the traditionally male oriented metal world. Like Band Maid, have into the rock world. Both Lovebites and Band Maid, could of easily dressed in the traditional black leather jeans and black t-shirts world that some of the female rock/metal groups do but I am so glad they didn't.

@@WindleEffect O_O What? Never been to a concert without a moshpit? Seriously? Ok, might have to do with the kind of bands, whose concerts you visit. Depending on the genre it's not that different in Germany and Europe, but I've been to concerts of Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Dio or even Metallica without a moshpit. Basically I wouldn't mind such a thing, because usually I don't care, if somebody is bound for trying to hurt himself, but the reality regarding moshpits sadly often just ends up with more or less drunk idiots going nuts and recklessly living out some weird aggressions without giving a damn if they are slamming into others around them, who want to enjoy the performance instead of wrestling ... So by no means I consider a moshpit to be some kind of an accolade for a good performance or good music. Quite the opposite ... That's what I appreciate with LOVEBITES (and the Japanese audience) ... they just don't need to feed silly Metal cliches, they let the music speak instead ... ;-)
