Everything else is just hamburgers.😁😁 Man, you ain't seen nothing yet. This band is finally the real deal, not a fake corporate put together. They are all professionals and experts in their craft. @@tre07reactions Lovebites and Nemophila are both awesome bands and I love them both. If I feel like listening to a modern, Nu-Metal sound, I listen to Nemophila. If I feel like listening some classic metal, then I listen to Lovebites. I do think that in terms of musicianship, Lovebites are a notch above Nemophila, perhaps largely due to the fact that they have a concert level pianist in the band.

Welcome to the Wolfpack! (the name for the Lovebites fans :D) - Glad to see you fully enjoying the best metal band on the planet. It's great to see more people discovering our ladies! I encourage you to check out some of their live performances too - in my decades of metal fandom, I've never heard cleaner sound out of a band live. Also, the white gowns are their usual "Battle Uniforms", their song "Stand and Deliver" is one of the few MVs they have done in casual clothes. Some data on the band: The lead singer (Asami) is the group goofball, and is known as "The Golden Voice" - and metal is a new genre for her vocally. She does a lot of writing, also. Haruna is the drummer - called "The Little Engine" - because she just crushes the drum parts and rhythm section on every song, and she is completely indefatiguable! Miyako is our right side guitarist who also does all the background synth and piano work. In addition, she also writes and does everything with that calm, cool professionalism. :) She is called "The Golden Touch" for a reason - everything she touches turns gold. Midori is the blonde guitarist with the amazing hair on the left side, and she is "The Crazy Shredder" - because, well, it is what it says. She's insanely good and aggressive shredder. She also performs in bodybuilding competitions. :) Finally on bass, we have our latest member, joining us brand new on this album, is the amazingly talented Fami - who doesn't have a nickname yet - but she really has injected even more energy and passion into the group. Fun fact: Fami is the tallest member of the band, at 5'2" tall. :)

Lovebites is a multi-genre heavy metal band who can't be placed into a box. They are a thrash/power/NWOBHM/progressive/symphonic/heavy metal band. Midori and Miyako are one of the greatest guitar duos in metal I have ever seen. I just love how tight they are and Asami has such a powerful voice. Everyone is backed up by the thunderous speed and power of Fami on bass and Haruna on drums. It is Lovebites who did a cover of Painkiller. It is an audio only fan-made video of the studio track. There is no live performance video for Painkiller. Here is the link to use: kzbin.info/www/bejne/h4LYaoOHotJ7gas

As a fan from there start of this band, LIVE is just how the Wolfpack imagines this. There nothing these women can't do LIVE that isn't amazing. This album would be a challenge for almost every band to play LIVE but not LB. Check out their Ride for Vengeance tour LIVE performances if you doubt that statement. Miyako the dark hair guitarist was 3/4 months pregnant and went full till for the entire 2 hour set. No one plays LIVE like these women, they are the definition of Flawless Perfection once they start playing on stage.Your blond guitarist, Midori is a dedicated competitive bodybuilder in her spare time. beyond the obvious musicianship, the primary reason that my 3 favorite metal artists are devin townsend, nemophila, and lovebites is because they are all musical geniuses where every member is a master of what they do, they all have previous experience with other groups and then went on to do their current groups (or went solo in devin's case), and are NOT created by corporate marketing, although of course any successful major group in Japan gets support... they have to be the greatest at what they do to get that support, like any artist. Lovebites is an INCREDIBLE group of major successful legendary musicians who put together kind of a supergroup, rather like nemophila did, although Lovebites has the GREATEST bassist (imho, now, their current/new bassist Fami that you are seeing in this video), and the greatest 2 lead guitarists (M+M) and one of these two guitarists is a concert pianist also (who does the keyboard parts you are hearing, generally, and also plays piano live at times), and their vocalist is INCREDIBLE coming from R&B background with classical training, and one of the greatest drummers who makes it all look super easy.

@@salsaucedo not disrespecting miho at all! She’s excellent but a very different player with very different taste. I thought i gave her credit for being possibly even the band leader. She can seriously play, but fami is next level as a technician compared to most bassists. I mentioned that i only got into the band because of fami… That just means i was not aware of them when fami was in the band. All good.
@don-music Жыл бұрын
@@salsaucedo but fami is a very different player and absolutely is a more showy player with ridiculous chops in all kinds of very advanced techniques, so for me she is a more advanced player than most bassists. I would put her over Myung from dream theater also, for the same reason. Myung, an industry legend, is amazing and plays much more like Miho.
@Patrick_H. Жыл бұрын
Great Reaction. You are wise to pick Live next. They play everything onstage as precisely as you hear it on MVs or recordings. For a different side of the band, check out Swan Song [+Chopin Intro] to see Miyako (black hair guitar/piano) shred some Chopin on piano and then shred her guitar in the solo. She is a musical genius who wrote the song - with Lyrics by Asami (vocals) kzbin.info/www/bejne/jXPLpaSdnr14d5Y (w/CC). Miyako writes close to half of their songs, and Asami writes almost all the lyrics. Bass player here is Fami, the new bassist. Recordings prior to Judgement Day are with Miho on bass. She was the band's Founder, along with Haruna (drums). She left the band for personal reasons in 2021. 🤘🐺🤘

LOVEBITES' repertoire contains many songs with similar religious themes. However, I think their activities and thoughts have nothing to do with religion. It's like how many people enjoy stories about magic and fantasy, even if they don't believe in magic. (Unrelated to this comment, but...) I heard that Miyako will release a piano album. Increases my enjoyment. ---------- from Nippon *It is a sentence using Google translation. I hope I conveyed my intentions correctly.

Welcome to the wolfpack my friend. I found them two years ago, just a few months before their hiatus, which was rough. But they look strong now.
@don-music Жыл бұрын
Also worth noting cuz you were complimenting the amazing bassist... so their original founding bassist and, apparently, band leader, left the band a couple years ago in a shocking move. So they took a break, and Miyako (co-lead guiarist with flying V in this video, also a concert pianist) played bass parts in a bunch of songs they wrote and recorded during the break, and they then held an international audition for their new bassist... people of all languages, races, from around the world, genders, ages... auditioned. Fami won the spot, and you can hear why... she's actually the reason I started listening to this group because Fami is a personal idol of mine on bass, and she's only 20 now. Fami re-recorded all of the bass parts and they released their new album, and she added her own skills to it (that tone! and slapping and all finger style, not pick like her predecessor or like Mikayo's composed bass parts originally), and they added the intro and outro to show off the new bassist's ridiculous tapping skills as well which are equal to their guitarists'.

The song "Judgement Day" is not related to religion.🤗 To understand the meaning of the song and why this song appeared (as well as the song "We Are the Resurrection" - the title track of the 4th Studio Album "Judgement Day", 2023), you need to know the history of LOVEBITES.
