There is just something immensely satisfying about watching someone else enjoy the best band ever. I pick my reactions carefully now because some are just using the band for their own benefit, but you are one I will always check out because I know how much LOVEBITES impress you. The only other people I know personally that listen to LOVEBITES are people I’ve met at the 8 concerts I’ve attended so far. And just like the band, those people exemplify the same kind of positivity and kindness that the band does.

If benchmarks were created based on these: music theory command, time signatures dynamic control, compositional ability and improvisations, proximate distance between 2 guitarist while executing harmonizing solos, complexity and technicality of execution with sweeps, arpeggios, hammer on finger tapping, then M&M shall be the Black Swan runaway champions. Black Swan are happenstance events of the lowest probability of occurrence, but when it does the impact is very significant. So to see another, impossible in this lifetime.

A lot going on in this one. Haruna with the drumstick twirls and conducting during the slow interlude. Miyako and Midori shredding and Miyako on piano. On top of all the great music, lost is the inspirational lyrics this song has. It will be great to see all 21 tracks on this CD/DVD on Memorial for the Warrior Souls out August 28th.

LOVEBITES new live LP (DVD/Blu-ray/CD) and also a new EP both will be released on August 28. „LOVEBITES EP II“ will contain new songs and also a re-recording of the band’s debut „THE LOVEBITES EP“ for a limited edition. „Memorial of the Warrior Souls“ is the live recording of last year‘s Tokyo concert during the Judgement Day tour. It features 7 live versions of songs from the „Judgement Day“ album including „Soldier stands solitarily“. And of course also the pre-releases „Rising“ and „We are the resurrection“, which was the opening track for this show.

Everytime I listen to Japanese female metal/rock bands, the drummer sounds like they're beating on those drums like they owe them money, and when the camera pans to them, you see a 5ft something pixie of a girl just happily wailing away on those drums.... And I'm all for it. Just watching Haruna happily smiling and banging away on those drums is pure joy.😁😁😁

It's some of the most incredible shit I've ever witnessed, too. After being a die hard Led Zeppelin fan for over 30 years, Lovebites dethroned them as my favorite band when I first heard them.

I think this is one of my favorite Lovebites songs. I love that Haruna really stands out in this song and she's so cute with her smiling, stick twirls, conducting, and that double bass! Then Miyako's switching back n forth between the piano and guitar is so smooth, and Midori's amazing solo. The base line is really clear here too and Asuna's voice is just wonderful. I just feel like this song really highlights each member's abilities very well.
