This was my first insight into the Awe that is Lovebites in 2017. I couldnt believe what my ears were hearing and what my eyes were seeing. I have been a Die Hard fan ever since. Speed,Power,Beauty and Bad Ass.

Haruna must have fallen into the cauldron of Getafix when she was a child. The speed, the energy, the ease ,the stamina, the beats, the rolls and whatever else she does is just out of the world. I consider her the best drummer I have ever seen or heard. Her cuteness makes her so adorable too. Yeah I do feel she needs more limelight . She has been part of the best rhythm section along with Miho in heavy metal in recent years and continues to do so with Fami. Glory to Lovebites 🤘 🐺 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

As I spend a good couple of hours a day on either KZbin, FB fan group or just listening to the band, I can reassure you that Haruna, or Harupi, a “pet” name she has, is as loved and admired by the Wolfpack as much as any other single member. Naturally it’s difficult not to pick a favourite, in my case it’s Asami the vocalist, and after that it’s pretty much a tie between the other four, but Harupi is an optical illusion. How can an adorably cute, petite, forever smiling and happy Japanese woman become the Harupi Artillery Battalion just defies all known laws. Having stated I have a personal favourite, l feel almost honoured to be considered a fan of such remarkably talented women. You’ve probably already recorded it, but check out the lyrics for Above The Black Sea as I believe they refer mostly to the Kamikaze and the futility of it.

Thanks for the reaction ! The Stars are Haruna's personal symbol or trademark. There are three of them - one in front and two on the sides. They do not make a sound and are not used as cymbals.Haruna has had these Stars ever since she was the drummer for the heavy metal band DESTROSE (2012-2014). Spinning the Star with a drumstick at the beginning of a song (and during the song) is Haruna's ritual.. Haruna does it in MV and in concerts. In DESTROSE, Haruna also twirled her Star with a drumstick.

Haruna is "Little Big Engine", the star symbol is her signature as a drummer since she with her old band, Destrose. She using drum set Pearl Crystal Beat. Midori with her custom made white guitar ESP FRX E-II, she also has 2 ESP E-II Horizon (Reindeer Blue and Black). Miyako with her signature guitar Dean USA Icon, she also has Switchblade and Flying V, and the latest new guitar Gibson Futura.

Good on you for showing Haruna the love! She is a F beast and this song is brutally awesome. The pace is relentless! My first intro to Lovebites...thx God for KZbin. Ruthless Metal did a YT video for greatest metal drummers of all time and I commented Haruna as my pick, check the comments kzbin.info/www/bejne/rp-xhJeQqbydmdE. 🙂 The pace she plays at, for her size (4' 9") is off the charts as far as I'm concerned. At some point, endurance has to be a factor during a 90-120min show and she plays like that till the end is ridiculous! Loving the Lovebites love bomb week! 🤘🐺

Great reaction. Yes, these musicians are gifted and talented but that is not enough. They all must have sprits or let's say power or guts to push themselves to their edge till become ash, practice until perfection of every single beat and note. And I agree that, yet Wolfpack knows it, but the whole world should recognize Haruna better. I'm looking forward to your next reaction to Above the Black Sea. That is a great one too, especially the version from Wacken.

This was the MV that exploded and brought Lovebites to the world's attention. Already you see the personalities of the bandmembers really coming through, not to mention the hellacious talent. Midori's sassy grin while she shreds is one of the most badass moments ever on youtube.

I agree Haruna is a beast (all 4ft 9in of her) and deserves more recognition. She still looks as cool as a cucumber at the end of a 2 hour set even though she keeps a phenomenal pace throughout. BTW can we have a LOVEBITES month. 😊😊
