That bass player is only 21 years old. Her name is Fami and she has her own KZbin Channel where she posted some amazing stuff of covers she did on bass. This concert was her very first time on stage in front of a paying audience and as a member of Lovebites. She crushed it.

Midori turned 35 in May Miyako turned 33 in April Haruna will turn 27 in December (Not 100% certain the info I found on her birth year is accurate) Fami turned 21 in June Asami's birth year is unknown. I would guess she is about 32 now.

Fami's final audition was in late August 2022. She was presented as 'official 5th Element' on October 21, 2022. New album was released on February 22, 2023. First "Resurrection" LIVE performance March 11, 2023, video & audio recorded, now presented as "Knockin' At Heaven's Gate" Blu-ray/DVD/CDs. Fami's August auditions, 3 songs, and "auditions documentary" are included in 'limited' "Judgement Day" CD bundle. 2 of the 3 audition songs were written by Miho, words & music (founder & former bassist/leader to international touring & recognition of "Best New Band" 2018, Metal Hammer Golden Gods of Metal Award).

Knockin' @ Heaven's gate from March 11th of this year was Lovebites 1st Live performance since April 2021! This was the opening song of the concert - which is why Asami made an entrance from off-stage, and also explains their obvious JOY at being on stage again doing their 'thing'. Fami was 20yo and had Never played Live with Lovebites and had Never played in front of a crowd of more than a few dozen people. Throughout the show all of the members encouraged and supported her - that's just who they are as people. Glad you have been 'Lovebitten' - you are welcome in the Wolfpack (Lovebites fanbase) if you are willing.

16 seconds (the note!) 🙂 One of the many, many reasons this band has taken possession of my listening and viewing time is what absolutely selfless and genuine people they are. This song features bass heavily…and is (following the instrumental intro “Awakening”) the first song of Lovebites first album. Letting Fami take the spotlight in the first song in her first concert is typical of how much being a member of Lovebites is like being a member of a family. She refers to the rest of the band as her big sisters, and they treat with all the affection that a little sister could want. When she’s playing the bass line, standing on the small platform (a Lovebites necessity that only she, being the tallest, doesn’t need) watch the grin spread across her face, and then spontaneously across singer Asami’s face as she catches her eye. Utterly genuine and really touching. Touching? In a metal band? Yes…get used to it.🙂

I realize you are a 'new channel' so I want to suggest that you resolve the 'hum' in the audio when you are talking and most importantly, retain the stereo-mix that LOVEBITES has insisted upon since signing with Victor. All raw tracks sent from Japan to Helsinki, Finland to be mixed & mastered by Mikko Karmila & Mika Jussila, respectively. All LIVE releases have the guitars panned to channel where the player stands on stage making their individual solos quite distinct and the duets (nearly every song, called "twin-solos" by Miyako) clearly being precisely performed in unison/harmony. Also, Haruna's drums are mixed to hear each drum & cymbal placed as if watching from directly in front of her stage setup. Her cymbal accents are uniquely supportive of guitar & vocal melody, 'pitched' china, splash & crash used in ways I have never heard previously. The beginning of "Holy War" is an excellent example for you to grasp what I am talking about. Dbl-kicks, the 'platform' the songs are built upon. Considering the pace at which they play, audio/video sync can reinforce or obscure the precision with which they perform these songs. Your reaction here is out-of-sync. Please review your upload before publishing. This will not only show respect to the artists you feature, but will show your viewers that you take your channel seriously in presenting bands as they intend to be heard & seen. I hope you have been hearing them in stereo in your headphones. Please put the effort into presenting LOVEBITES to your viewers/subscribers just as this band works hard to write, arrange, perform & record their music. "Hammer Of Wrath" was written by the original bassist Miho and she has this technique on fast bass lines where she kinda rolls her hammer ons instead of delivering crisp snap to that second note, if that makes any sense. It noticeable on the different ways she and Fami approach that 1st bass solo where Miho does that "roll hammer on" method and Fami slaps it. Its not a critique on either one, thet bith sound great, its just an observation.
