Lovebites, which is not a thrash metal band, is showing todays thrash metal bands how its done, how they should play thrash metal. You just gotta love it. Such diversity I have never seen before. Heavy, thrash, power metal, progressive-they can play it all, and on a very high level. Best metal band in the world right now, no discussion. These girls can conquer the world. To see them live is one of my goals in life for sure

Awesome and majestic music!! I can't count anymore how often I've been watching and listening to this video since I watched the "Five of a Kind - live at Home" free streaming show on July 11th ... I'm hopelessy addictd to Lovebites ...

They do play hard and fast...but they play complicated chords and NEVER make a mistake!!! You hear them on individual shreds but when they harmonize the are in complete sync always (tones are different) but they are like machines and at that speed one slip up and you are done!!!The talent level in this band is insane and they continue to get better as they have only been together 3+ years. The biggest improvement is in their LIVE performances as Asami, the vocalist has really grown into a great front person and her LIVE vocals are truly much better than when they appeared at Wacken in 2018. This concert is one of the few that is holding my sanity till we can all go back to concerts in person!!! Shout out to Haruna the drummer who drives these ladies from start to finish especially LIVE!!!

Hello Shaun. Your comment was correct, time for Metallica and other bands to move aside. Sorry to say, you can't stop the aging process and many bands are getting older. Lovebites is the next new big band and we are now witnessing the New Wave of Japanese Heavy Metal. Glad you enjoyed this video.

You are the first reaction to say Miyako's solo was Kirk Hammett with the Wah. My favorite Lovebites song is the last one I listened to. So right now it is Thunder Vengeance. Midori's solo had some Randy Roads elements to it and love the fact that she was using tremolo while she was playing the notes. Haruna's little drum solo was awesome and the resulting break, tempo, time and key change is classic Metallica and thrash metal. Miho really knows how to rock. Like Steve Harris, she is singing the lyrics even when not providing backing vocals. Asami has such a great voice. Wow!

You don't have to apologize for telling it like it is. As great and important as Metallica were, they didn't have two true lead guitars the way this band does. As one professional guitarist said, clone Hammett and then maybe you have Lovebites. As you've seen in your other reactions, they studied all the great old metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Slayer etc...and aced all of it. About the only thing they don't do is death/screamo. And that's just fine.

@Aratha Sena What's funny is that before she joined Lovebites, Miyako was in two death metal bands--one of them was called Goddeath. But I don't think she sang, just shredded.

I can't disagree that they are at least reminding Metallica of how it should be done. By the way, Burning Witches dropped their new video "Circle Of Five" on Nuclear Blast. It's the first since Larissa replaced Sonia Anubis on guitar. I would love to see both bands on the same bill. And Amaranthe are supposed to drop a new video today, also on Nuclear Blast.
