60過ぎの爺です。小5でグランドファンクに出会い、ユーライアヒープも好きになり、中学ではパープルも加わり、高校ではラッシュをコピーしました。マキ&ＯＺも。その後は長くラッシュ中心できましたが、ニールが逝って以来、ロスが続きました。昨秋そこにYou Tubeのおかげで、人間椅子が彗星のごとく現れ、毎日聴き、ロスは解消。それだけでも満足な所に、これまたYou TubeがLOVEBITESを知らせてくれました。多くの皆さんがコメントしてるように、ヘヴィメタルなのに涙が出てくるのです。色んな理由が挙げられますが、長くなるので割愛します。今日も朝の通勤、帰り電車、そして風呂の中でルーティーンのように聴いてますが、ふと、これはヘヴィメタルではなく、LoveMetalではないかと、思いました。だからこそ自然と涙が出てくる。自分で勝手に納得しました。 メタルも含めロック大好きで過ごして50年以上。この歳になってLOVEBITESに出会えて本当に幸せです。 勝手な独り言でした。

I just received the Blu-ray of this Concert last night (7/14/23). It was delivered to the incorrect address which was not even close to my address - and 2-3 blocks away. Fortunately, for me, the person alked over and handed me the package. I owe them dearly for their honesty. I paid almost $200 which included shipping. Well worth it and just ordered Lovebites new one this morning. Blu-ray and CD. I am totally blown away and I have seen The Who, Zeppelin, Deep Purple and more in the 70s. Lovebites is in a class all by themselves.

The Bell in the Jail, Hammer of Wrath, Someone's Dream, Lost in the Garden, are all great songs, but Thunder Vengeance is my personal all time favorite LOVEBITES song. I can never get enough of hearing this song live or studio. so good. I hope I get to hear it live in person some day.

前のコメントにも関連するが、mihoはasamiをボーカルに迎えてステージ衣装についてもみんなで話し合って決めたことだろう。一般的にHMのイメージからは綺麗なドレスタイプの衣装は想像しないだろう。しかし、その経緯は、探しても見当たらなかったので知っている人は教えてほしい。それとも、邪推だが旧熊然としたイメージを払拭して「新しいHMでこんなファンタジードレスもいいかも・・・」とひらめいたのだろうか？だとしたら先見の明があるのか？であれば、ずっと将来に評価されることだろう。 This is related to the previous comment, but with Asami as the vocalist, miho probably discussed and decided on the stage costumes as well. Generally speaking, you wouldn't imagine beautiful dress-type costumes from the image of HM. However, I couldn't find the details behind this, so if anyone knows, please let me know. Or did he get rid of his evil but old-fashioned image and had an epiphany that ``this kind of fantasy dress might be good for the new HM...''? If so, does he have foresight? If so, it will probably be evaluated far into the future.

暫く前のランキングでHOLYWARが一位でしたけど、個人的には、LOVEBITESの何たるかを最も良く表している曲として同曲を推したいです。この場にいましたが、正直目頭が熱くなったのを覚えています。2011年にガールメタルシーンを知ってMIHOさん繋がりでLOVEBITESのデビューに立ち会うことになりましたが、これには、有無を言わさずに圧倒されたというか、畏敬の念を覚えたというか、息が詰まる緊張感を肌で感じたんですよね。LOUDPARKも全ての回に参加してそれなりに洋楽メタルを愛聴してきた身ですけど、この感じ海外の一流バンドと遜色ないんじゃないかと思ってその場で聴いていました。大げさかもしれませんけど、誰にも到達させない、触れさせないという気概を感じさせる程に圧倒的に他者を突き放す感覚に痺れてしまいました。めちゃくちゃ厳しいことを言えば、ああだこうだ言えるかもしれません。でも、もうそのあたりは些細なことだと思っていますし、とやかく言わなくても本人達の向上心がそれに甘んじることなくバンドを更に成長させていってくれるものと信じています。さあ、LOVEBITESの皆さん。世界中のファンが夢の続きを待っていますよ。最高の景色を見せてくれるという約束は守って貰わないと（笑）

The music probably isn't commercial/mainstream enough for the masses. In addition to this, it seems that their record company doesn't do much to promote them outside of Japan and none of their live-DVDs/Blu-Rays has been officially released outside of Japan yet. While I don't mind paying high import prices for their DVDs (because they are definitely worth it!), not everyone can afford them. And neither "Electric Pentagram" nor "Glory, Glory, to the World" has been reviewed in one of the biggest German metal magazines, Rock Hard, and I haven't seen any advertisements for these releases in this magazine either.

Band-Maid (the correct spelling BTW o' fan of the band) plays metal, sure, but the choruses fall into the Japanese pop metal vein. This on the other hand is power metal of the highest order and Love Bites have it nailed, understanding and executing all that was, is and will always be power metal.

Truly AWESOME band. They are astonishing, not merely good.........And their lyrics......Searing our very souls.... I'm 71, been into rock for 60 years. Love Bites makes the Beatles and Rolling Stones sound adolescent. Love Bites is perhaps the best band I have ever heard............especially considering they compose their own music, write their own lyrics, do their own arrangements. Incredible talent...........

いや～凄すぎますよ～ 1曲聴いただけでこんなに興奮&感動したのは何十年ぶりかな？ ちなみにこの曲が収録してあるアルバムは、曲順もエグい(笑) 1曲目コレで、2曲目がholy war、この展開だけでもオジサンは倒れてしまいそうです。(笑) あくまで個人的な意見ですが、今回の3rdアルバムは捨て曲が無いと思ってます。メタルというジャンルでの歴史に残るであろう史上最高傑作になると思いますね～。 何もかもが凄すぎて、ただのいい曲揃いのアルバムという表現すら足りないと思います。 もうこれは芸術作品です。 こんなハイクオリティ楽曲を日本人の 女性が堂々と妥協なくやってるというのが素晴らしく、誇れるバンドです。 今や自分の元気の源はLOVEBITESになってしまっています。

ヴァッケン2018のライヴが堂々とした演奏で観衆も盛り上がりましたが、Five of A kind ツアー群の楽曲と演奏力で再度欧州でツアーやフェスに参戦したら、大きな反響を巻き起こす事は間違いない。 コロナが恨めしいですが、この五人でその間も成長しているものと思います。 幾つかの映像に規制が入らないのも、逆に今は良い宣伝になると思います。

私もBaBy Metal AkatsukiをきっかけにJapan Metalを聞くようになりました。アンキモ、Band Maidなど、なぜかGirls BandのQualityの高さを感じます。なかでもLive Bitesは、曲作りのうまさとLive Performanceで突出しています。今年は9月のLiveに行きます。来年は....海外公演に行ってしまうのでしょうね。それにしてもThunder Vengeance Liveは何回聴いても飽きが来ないすばらしいVideoです。

I only just discovered them last week. It's not really the type of music I listen to. Band Maid is something I gravitate to the most. That said, I can appreciate the musicianship Lovebites displays. 20k subscribers does seem low for a band of this caliber. I wonder if it was the genre of music but there is Babymetal there chugging along. I also see a lot of Lovebites reaction videos so their name is getting out there. No idea why the subs are so low...

I think the reason that there are now only 22k subscribers, because this official channel started in Dec 2018. Before then their videos got uploaded by their record label and only 2-3 videos only. Not enough to create interest.
