Linda was a good match, she seemed comfortable being forward, gently leading him and showing interest which is what someone like him needs. Most girls might get annoyed waiting for him to make decisions and speaking his mind which would cause him to shut down. If she’s genuinely interested she might be more reserved in her reaction and be more focused on their interactions and what she might want to say to him vs having an overt celebration over not being eliminated, which feels more like someone playing a game and thinking about the situation in terms of winning and losing.
