I was dealing with acne, high cortisol, not feeling worthy, and with a personal tramauntic event in those photos! All this to say there is so much that goes into a glow up than what you might see!

I hate the idea that losing weight equates a glow up because it inherently implies that you have to be skinnier to be more attractive. The real glow up should be about healing yourself mentally and figuring out your style in order to bring out your inner glow and confidence so that you stop getting in your own way and start enjoying life. You can do all that and still be fat. Of course there’s also nothing wrong with losing weight if it’s something you do for your self or your health rather than from a need to fit a mould under societal pressures that have been instilled in us from a young age.
