I find Lovecraft is the most in-depth look I have done on why someone had these types of views. I may not enjoy the way they thought about the world, but I try to understand the time he grew up in and the way he was raised. I can still enjoy their art. Even with it’s blemishes there’s still something to preserve, at least from what I came up with. Nice job on this video.

I hope this comment doesn’t come off as a bit preachy. It’s just how I choose to look at the topic.

I yeah no I encourage the commenting my goal here is not to tell people what to think, I merely want to introduce people to new ideas in fun and engaging ways I’m not here to put my own view forward 😊

For me, I have to draw a line and Lovecraft crosses it so I cannot, out of principle or belief, enjoy his work anymore thanks to my eyes opening to what he truly was a human being and how different myself and the author was. I cannot separate the art from the artist because I am an artist myself and whatever work I do is an extension of my mind and I work to be a better person today than yesterday.
