When I have done beads on my cross stitch, look at the directions. The will tell you. If you do a half cross stitch, the bead will lay at an angle or a whole cross stitch, where the bead will lay straight up and down. This method it new to me. Good to know of a different method of beading ! Thanks for the lesson on a new beading method ! :)

I have done a few mill hill kits , which has cross stitch and beading all on perforated paper. They use petite seed beads and regular beads. You use a special beading needle for the beads. They are fun ,little kits, but a lot of work. The also have one ceramic button bead. All the materials come with it.

Hi Nataliya, as you know I have been doing this craft and have been enjoying it. There are several good suppliers in Aliexpress like Golden Panno, Snowlover etc. What I observed though is that the smaller kits have the same canvas as yours. The big ones use aida cloth. They are definitely more expensive than diamond paintings but they are as satisfying to do. I alternate between dp'ing and beaded cs. They are the two projects I have on the go. Great tutorial as always! Thanks 🌹
@awoods83215 жыл бұрын
I'm on my first one. I love it. Thank you for showing me how to do it the right way. Mine is European and does not have the dots, only colored circles. The needle is cheap I think because it bends and the thread seems like fishing line. It is clear plastic, it seems. I definitely have mistakes on how I put down the beads but you've taught me what to do for the next one!

Craft hack: when colors are really close together (like your two reds) take a picture and convert it to greyscale (black and white.) Often the tones are different, but are brains can't get past the "colors are the same!!!" part! :D
@heatherdelauder56615 жыл бұрын
Wow! Yeah I absolutely cannot see between the two red colors. It shouldn't matter much with these flowers but I would definitely want one with symbols for a beginner 👍
@GMeek-bd8wl5 жыл бұрын
I really like the front camera angle the best, although I know not so comfortable for you. Also, as you were working and I noticed that the two red symbols were very similar I got an idea. Why not mark all the darker red symbols with a small dot with a washable marker of some sort. That way you can distinguish which is which. Just a thought, hope it helps.

Thank you so much for posting these videos. I have watched this one several times. I have never cross stitched on this kind of fabric or a preprinted pattern. My question is once you have made a couple of stitches and you realize you made a mistake you can't just back it out like on Aida cloth. Is there some way to correct yourself without having to cut your thread and start over? Sorry if you answered this question in another video. I do love all your work I have spent probably 16 hours going through all you video crafts. You are so very talented.
