I don’t think turn out fits with toes very well. Turn out means the result or outcome - maybe you could say ‘her toes turned out nicely after she got a pedicure!? ‘ 😉

This lesson has been very useful, it has helped me to recap and gain more insight into phrasal verbs. I enjoyed it quite a lot. However, I'd like to make a question. Imagine this: Last week I had made a date with a boy to the cinema, and my little sister latched on to us, it was really annoying.' Is it the same if I say: "... she tagged along with us ... "? I enjoyed this phrasal verb 'tag along', it's hilarious, English is funny.

I think putting the subtitles is a good idea for a while until you get more used to the sounds of English but I am speaking quite fast - (I don’t slow down very much) so I think that maybe why you find it hard to understand me but I think you are doing well.😊

It has a lot of different meanings - it can mean to switch on anything electronic but there is a second meaning which is a little rude - best to check that in the dictionary!
