1. Dave says blueberry pie is DEFINITELY an amenity 😂 2. Lake Superior is HUGE… and cold….we were blown away by its vastness. Dave jumped in that lake 3 times, he is crazy! 3. Snake eating frog…. Gross 4. As we headed even further east we were shocked to find many private residents in the National Forest…. You don’t see that in the west much🤷‍♀️ Keep on Truckn guys!

That last spot I would stay the entire 2 weeks ! Was curious about your solar in a area like that ! A small Genny probably would be nice .

Can’t do the sound of a generator man…. I’d just go with no power 🤣 The DC charger on the truck has been a game changer for sure. Even with 900 watts, tree coverage and solar don’t mix well.

We love the Upper Peninsula of Michigan!!! We were there last year. Before we went up there, we were driving around looking for little parks around Rogers City. We accidentally trespassed onto a private yard where a man was sitting at a picnic table. Their yard looked like a little park. We were so embarrassed and went to leave. But in this world that can be cold and selfish, this man and his wife were so hospitable! They told us other people have thought that. He said when it has happened they just invite people into their property. They feel so fortunate to live in such a beautiful place. They told us a little about their lives. Very interesting couple. We felt so fortunate because it could have turned out so differently. Anyway, we totally understood when that happened to you.

Yeah there was weirdly less bugs than most places we go… this is our second trip up here, so we know that’s not normal. A local told us it was the mildest bug season of his life 🤷‍♀️

You are standing by someone's cabin, and you think you may be on private property?? Really?? 😂

😂 well to be fair, the forest service builds and rents out these cabins. If no one was using it, it would have been a perfectly legal access point to the water. This particular property was one of those FS cabins, but had recently been sold off. Without cell service there was literally no way to know the difference. They should have put up signs 🤷‍♀️
