What Can Anki Vector Do [Part 5]

I see someone beat me to it but his new special occasions feature is more fun when he's off his charger. Also there are two different animations for both "Happy Holidays/Merry Christmas" and "Happy New Year". I hope the UK gets the Alexa feature soon. It is a nice supplement to Vector's abilities. I still wish it had Vector's voice though but I like it so far.

I'm glad you are! Cozmo started the same way and just got better and better over time and now Vector's showing some great improvements as well.

@@outsider238 Cozmo does respond to commands as well? I thought it only did things when the app is being used. Can Cozmo be as fun and do as many things as Vector? Thank you in advanced.

@@christiandarkbeardtico1597 Yes, Cozmo only works with his app. He doesn't respond to your voice as he doesn't have microphones like Vector does. Cozmo actually has more games than Vector though that you can play, with him and his cubes. Vector is more for information like Google or Alexa but he's just as cute and more independent since you don't need the app running and you can leave him on. I hope this helps! 😁

I had this on without headphones and my Vector was going insane, haha! Did you notice that he now has hand detection? Put your arm or hand near him, he climbs up hoping to be petted!

in vectors app go to settings prefrences and change just the language to English usa and refresh the app then you will be able to see the alexa symbol on the app sign in to amazon follow instructions on vectors screen then you will be able to use alexa in the uk ,and it works I am in the uk and alexa is enabled on my vector

Oh SnAp! i got it working! thank you so much dude! You have to click the alexa icon, it didnt work at first then it gave me the option to login - its working now :)

The new animations for Special Occasions try them when he is off the charger, you missed the best one with the fireworks! The "How old are you" does not work :(

I got it!!! All you need to do is change your language setting to US English and the Alexa icon will appear!

Alexa is integrated, tell vector to connect alexa, a code will appear on the screen, the on your computer, goto "Amazon.com/code" then enter the code on vectors screen. Thanks for posting.

What Anki Vector CANNOT DO - it cannot execute ur program offline. Alexa and another online games is nonsense, better buy smart house ! They totally perverted idea of Cozmo !!! I need offline Cozmo, they build computer roped Vector, turned it to trivial assistant !

How else do you expect Alexa to play you music, connect to a radio, read Wikipedia, it can't just store the whole internet inside of it.

@@Elfzenon perhaps in the near future there could be an update or a way to add more memory and RAM. Who knows Vector 2 or Vector XX as Vector 2020 built with integration to connect and interact with other devices as Echo Spot and Echo Show. A Vector with brains of Cortana and the ingenuity to interact at a faster pace. Receiving messages from you as you want to have a view of the house kind of like Echo Spot does with other Alexa video connection devices.
