I genuinely love the symbolism of Wilbur sitting down and not being fazed at a plane he is on plummeting, as everyone else is screaming, trying to wrangle him back, he is fighting to stay in the forefront, and only realizes what is happening when it is too late. Exellent portrayal of an abusive relationship. Everything is falling, crashing, burning all around you. People are trying to save you but youre fighting back because of course you are. And you only realize they were trying to help once the plane crashes. Amazing portrayel

Will's voice has really improved over the course of his songs and singing carreer. The falsetto in the chorus are done perfectly and fit so well with the overlying theme of the song. The bass and guitar's counter-melody riff sounds so nice with the distortion while the singing and drums are layed backing causing the verses to have a lot of depth. The drums are at the perfect volume where they cause the song to keep the same groove without overpowering anyone else.

Will always wanted to become a rockstar and a director, and now he's killing at both! One of the things I like most about Lovejoy are the lyrics. They can be very metaphoric, confusing and unorthodox, but they are never... unreasonable, if I had to use a word for it. They are like their own little thing, their way of sense. It's not like when I hear "Matryoshka" or other songs that have very hidden or confusing lyrics, where I feel they seem like something random that is purposely hiding away to be found out. Lovejoy lyrics just... are. They make sense, but their own sense. When I hear a song I don't feel like the meaning is hiding away to be discovered, I feel just that I am yet to understand the sense they absolutely have and expose with no remorse. It's honestly fascinating.

Also I just love the way they place the lyrics in the music video, it really gives that touch of being trapped in something you know you have to leave but you know if you do, you'd be left with nothing at all. The style subtly evolving and morphing as the band evolves is so fascinating. I loved how different the vibes were compared to the first EP, this one feels so much heavier in a way with all of the guitar and multiple layers of vocals. So amazing! Some of the lyrics I can't relate to, but the chorus is HEAVENLY. Will's voice, the instrumentals, it's just so good. And the monologue is 🔥. "And I've found that the road to happiness is paved With rows and rows of very tempting parking spaces." This is definitely Lovejoy's best song, imo.

well it’s twitter, they don’t care about the other person involved. i mean of course wilbur did something terrible, but all twitter cares about is the present, they never give anyone a chance to prove anything. like some people who supported caiti on twitter still refuse to believe george even after he provided 2 long videos explaining what happened. that’s how twitter works, and it will never change. so i personally think that wilbur should just apologise in private to shelby, because it’s shelby who deserves the apology, not twitter. twitter always feels like they owe everything whenever allegations are dropped, but some things need to be handled in private, sending death threats instead going to encourage him to voice out his opinion, instead it’ll make him reconsider the possibilities of what’ll happen if he posted it to the public. what i’m most annoyed about is that everyone on twitter thinks that they are perfectly angels, like if they think about anything other then themselves. like what if they were caught doing something very wrong, like in this case it’s abuse, would they kill themselves just because of it? they never think about how the other person feels when sending the death threats. i’m seriously not on anyone’s side on this, because of the amount of people who told wilbur to kill himself. even though he’s evil, he’s still human, he definitely deserves a second chance to prove himself instead of hiding. but all those threats will probably make him stay quiet for a little bit longer. anyway best wishes to both of them.

The monologue at 2:25 has to be my favorite part. Before that my thoughts were "Man, this sounds fantastic" but after that, it changed to "MAN, THIS IS FUCKING FANTASTIC" and I think there is a very clear difference there. I mean, not only that, but afterward the music just hits in a way. I mean, I just feel it so differently. You guys do such a terrific job every time.

I really like the video, it reveals a very interesting concept. Almost everybody thinks that they are so intelligent and in their arrogance that they can get away with anything, and then out of the sudden, the plane starts falling, and their consience, kicks in. Facing death really changes everything we value and think is important.
