That WiFi :D I feel your pain. Jisoo is the most weird one and like Rose once said: "I think if Jisoo unnie had a quiet and feminine personality, our team would be really depressing." So I'm very thankful, that we have Jisoo. For her english skills: Jisoo can follow basic english decent enough, but has a very hard time speaking english. She is not a "secret english genius". Thats just a joke. Rose is native english speaker (since she grew up in australia) and Jennie lived as child over 5 years in new zealand and got pretty good with english. Lisa is ok at english since english is more common in thailand as foreign language for example teached in schools, but she also often feels a bit unsure, when she has to talk freely in english. In english interviews Jisoo usually sits quite in her corner, nods and smiles, which is a bit sad. If somebody wants to interview me, I would expect, that the interviewer makes the effort to meet me in my native language, not the other way around. Why should Jisoo have to speak english? They are not from a english speaking country, so there should be a translator to help involve Jisoo more in these interviews.

I think when people say Jisoo is a secret English genius, they mean that while she doesn't really speak it, she does understand it. Jennie said in a video that she didn't have to translate the English fan comments for Jisoo because Jisoo can read it herself.

Hi guys, so Jisoo english is advanced* and her pronunciation and listening are almost perfect at this point. She is not fluent like the other members, but last year she said she's working on her english skills around may, and on her last LIVEs in 2019 she was VERY good when speaking with fans. Unfortunately she rarely does LIVES and her last concerts where in Japan, so she uses Japanese when addressing the crowd.

Jisoo is the real deal man. Like she is what she is in front of the public. The most real person in blackpink imo. The only member who never cried in blackpink. She has good leadership qualities and she always tries to make her fellow members happy and cheerful. She doesn't care about her image. That's a fact. Even though she is the main visual and again the most beautiful member according to me in blackpink, she'll goof around and play and dress up like a tomboy. She can do both. She can understand and speak English but she isn't very confident in her pronunciation. She's more comfortable in korean. But her members helped her improve in English(spoken) and encourage her all the time. You should react to her solo cover clarity by zedd:) she has pretty amazing vocals there.
