Ok this needs explination 😅: There are 2 mv for BST: the Korean (original version) and Japanese. The Korean one ISN'T PART of the storyline, is just really heavily based on the Damian stuff, so you can watch it with no worries. (I actually rewatched it just to be sure). The Japanese one IS part of the storyline. But since is Japanese I dont know if it will be safe for you, since copyright for that stuff is a big threat.

After you win an award at music shows you are allowed to have an encore stage with your fans. That’s what encore stages are. *Edit:* thought I should explain what music shows are so here we go: So just like the US has charts that update weekly (i.e. Billboard Hot100) Korea has a few as well. Each chart has its own show where idols promote their songs via live performances for their fans that are also televised. At the end of the show they update the chart live and (combined with live votes from fans) they award whoever tops the chart each week. Whenever you win, you are given time to re-perform the song you’re promoting as an encore. That’s why fans are there and why BTS stay acting up 😂 bc it’s basically a moment for BTS and ARMY to hang out.

Every day of the week, Kpop idols who are promoting go there and perform and then they pick who’s song was #1 in that week. So every time a Kpop group has a comeback, they promote in these shows every day and promotions usually last like 2-3 weeks. Every time someone wins, they have an encore of the song that they are promoting which is the song that won #1. These shows are totally different than Award shows like MAMA or MMA. As you know Award shows are big and grand and it’s only once a year. While music shows are aired everyday. Hope this helps

These are music shows on Korean TV (Music Bank, Inkigayo, M Countdown, Show Champion...). They're weekly programs where artists perform, get interviewed, promoting their newest songs (their "comeback") and at the end all artist come together to the stage so the week's winner is announced. As for the awards, the artists accumulate points for them to be nominated for the first place in the next week, this can be by views, sellings... Then the winner does the encore stage like what you saw, BTS has a lot of those trophies since their first win back in the day with I NEED U, and always when they win they do some challenge like the drinking water from the trophie, getting barefoot, dancing cutely, applying lip stick (Anything could happen in those encore stages 😅)... You can also see some idols being the MCs (hosts) for certain period of time, usually from rookie groups, or even older groups (for just one episode) when they are also promoting their albums. And the fans (usually the ones with membership from the official Fanclub) go to the studio to support their idols by being in the audience (but is not that easy for famous groups, since there is just a few sits).

In Korea they have these weekly shows that are kind of like the old TRL where singers perform their new songs. The group that basically has the most popular song wins and gets to perform their song during the encore.
