They are not going to be disbanded...dont believe such rumors its just anti's of the group or label trying to sabotage them.They are having a mega comeback this year and probably postponed due to corona virus.Chinese Blinks alone donated millions of dollars for their upcoming unknown album something which is not even up for pre order. Kpop fans are extremely loyal and passionate. Sometimes they can be extremely toxic too. There are a lot of false rumors and opinions going around because of hate, jealousy, etc. BLACKPINK is not disbanding. As far as management is concerned, their label has a certain business philosophy that is not like other kpop companies and that doesn't sit well with some fans. Whatever it is, my advice is not to believe everything you hear. Best practice is to do your own research and fact check. Lots of fake news when it comes to BLACKPINK.

7:47 their management was in crisis last year but it's NOT true that they are disbanding whatsoever. They are under a big company in Korea and it's now recovering well. They just wrapped up their first world tour last February and this 'IN YOUR AREA’ tour became the most successful world tour for a K-Pop Girl Group in history. The girls are now actually preparing for a comeback, SOON (maybe once S.Korea control the COVID-19 issue).

Be careful what you listen to from the fandom. Some of it is quite toxic. There is, from what I understand, a trend among girl groups to disband after their contracts end. One thing though, BLACKPINK is MUCH bigger than other groups have been, so we really don't know what will happen. Additionally, Blackpink seems to be a big part of YGs push into a more global audience, and in particular to crack the western market. Hence, their songs contain a lot more English, and they stick consistently to the Girl Crush (female empowerment) concept that appeals to a western audience. Much of the mismanagement talk comes from fans who are frustrated (understandably to an extent) in not getting more music. Most K-pop groups seem to get more than one comeback per year. Everglow, for example debuted last year, and has already had two comebacks (you should check them out too, they're really good). The thing is though, Blackpink has had a lot of success through sponsorships and modeling gigs, along with a worldwide tour, so there is only so much time for them to spend in the studio. Furthermore, at present, all of their misc has been done by one producer, Teddy. Due to the combination of things that have been going on, it's hard to really call it mismanagement. It might just be a matter of the bigger picture. If you think about other big global acts like Ed Sheehan or Taylor Swift, they only come out with new albums every few years, so It's not completely unreasonable for us to wait as long as we have. I think we all need to just wait a little longer to see where this goes. The jury is still out on whether YG has really mismanaged Blackpink, even though many fans will tell you otherwise.
