Hi Wendy & Darren, certainly know what you mean about the weather, we live in a beautiful part of Ireland surrounded by beaches, mountains etc but unfortunately our weather is worse than the Uk! We want to buy a motor home & the long term holidays are certainly something to consider, we love watching/listening to you two every week & as animal lovers - we have 2 dogs, 5 altogether since we’ve been married & they all lived long happy lives - Kenneth is absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for all the vlogs you do, we really appreciate all your hard work; Barbara & Trevor 💕

Like you we go through long winters and when spring and summer finally arrive all we seem to get is grey sky and rain!!! Oh Jan, we sat and watched the TV report the other night and it really did look awful, what on earth is going on with the climate/weather! So far we have had about ten days of summer!!! Its one of the main reasons we won't end our days on the marina/in the UK. Mr B simply won't have it! Hope you have a lovely week ahead and stay well and safe. My fur babies mean more to me than any human ever could. They are my life. My life and work ( Amazon flex ) is totally all around Dotty and Toto. As for time taking to look for the right boat. I’ve been looking into it for two years. Nearly bought one ( brand new) at Mercia but didn’t happen at the time. I still look and take into account my doglets. Work requirements and keeping costs down. Ideally electric propulsion etc. And also my health ( Term CLL) and how that could or not restrict me. Great vlogs. Thanks 🙏

Loved this tonight! Interesting to hear your views on retirement and marina life. I’m on my new narrowboat but have had a period of enforced stay in the marina. Whilst I love this place, it sometimes drives me mad and I want to be out! Soon, hopefully 🙏🏻 Like you I’ve got dogs to consider too, I’m more than happy to do this. My dogs are my life. Hello Wendy and Darren love listening to the monthly questions we came back from the Tessin the south of Switzerland last monday we had rain nearly every day which is unusual I think you missed my vlog last week but I was late in sending it so thats ok I cannot understand why you have lost people from your vlogs because of Kenneth I miss having a dog while growing up in england we always had a dog today it has been veryhot here 32 deg take care both of you and enjoy Kenneth Anne x🇨🇭

It sounds as though most of Europe are experiencing rather strange summer weather! It really does get us down, long winters and the very least we can expect is a clear blue sky on the odd day!!!! We’ll dog sit and boat sit in the UK if you ever do have to leave Kenneth. 😀He’s such a good boy! Actually tired of the dry weather and sunshine in CO! 😎 Andrew and I were talking about you guys this am…He said he “always wanted to live in the heat”. And I was born in the desert of Arizona. Now….we want the cool, damp air. Weirdly, we both felt less achy during our most recent visit to the UK! Perhaps living at 6k feet has something to do with it. Is it a case of “the grass is always greener?”. Most certainly so in our case as we have no green grass at all!! 🤦‍♀️🤣

Oh Jayne, all its done here is rain! We have seen about one day, maybe two days of blue sky in the last week or so! Mr B is having a right old rant about it! We sat last night on the back deck and watched a few new episodes of A Place in the Sun! (google it, we love it) Its a few years off yet but it really does keep Mr B going. He has always said that it the UK had the climate he would retire here, all he (and me) want's is some sun on his back for six months a year! Gosh! I think I may have had a rant like Darren!!!! howdy folks can i ask you please on something that has been bugging me for a while, with your boat not moving as such will it affect the steel as in rusting quicker, i know you recently got the bottom blacked did that hurt by the way sounds painful sorry just tickles me 🤣🤣or do you have to get that done on a more recent basis, i look forward to your vlogs and pod casts just watching it now great stuff thanks for them all the jaunts and the crack, i honestly thought a troll was something that lived under a bridge but as of now i understand that there some of the vilest things crawling, i watched the fox vlog last week some of those were well can not put it in to words but nasty little vile people nearly but not quite cover it, rant over take care both keep well keep safe.
