I agree with Adam on so much, but one thing I PASSIONATELY disagree with him on is his hatred for cake. I agree with him that pie is amazing and potentially better than cake, but he talks like cake is disgusting and everyone hates it, and I just couldn't disagree more. A good white vanilla sponge with american buttercream, or a chocolate cake with peanut butter butter cream; there aren't very many things on this earth that taste better. And he always talks about how nobody will eat cake at a party; that is not my experience at all. He asserts this as though everyone agrees with this but I don't see this at all; everyone I know loves cake, the food network is filled with cake challenges and baking shows featuring cake all over, cupcake wars, etc. People love cake, and for good reason, it's delicious.
