The US gives it's POWs - - Salary. We pay the equivalent of the prisoner's military salary "back home" while he is in our custody. - Medical and dental care (better than he had at home or in his military) - Meals designed by dieticians (again better than his usual) - Mail, incoming and outgoing, at our expense (all to/from some FPO address) - Private meetings with lawyers, diplomats, and clergy (we pay for the lawyers and clergy) - Access to TV, radio, newspapers (they get free cable, do you?) - Obviously, clothing, showers, toilets, bed, prom date etc. Interestingly enough, the non-military legal system gives it's prisoners nearly the same thing. We don't pay a prisoner's salary, and we don't pay for their postage. We do pay for their email, zoom etc., and often we pay for their education and/or vocational training.

An 18 y/o boy, married to a stripper. It's not about his tolerance. He just needs to ripen a few years and gain a few punches in his man card. Every one of us XY'ers would be the same ball of dough with a pair of stripper boobies in our faces at that age. I'm not sure if that ever goes away. I'll go find a stripper with boobies and report back.

Adam is hilarious, of course. Dr Drew gives some great advice and analysis but much of the time it doesn't fully come out or is overspoken by Adam that I think it provides very little if any help. I feel guilty being entertained when young people's serious problems are dismissed and made light of.

@@davidgarvin1889 I'd say it's the one that has and will, at the drop of a hat, send trillions of dollars of aid, equipment, people, technology, medicine, to ANY country that asks, friend or foe. Maybe CRIV knows of such a country.
