• SMCU ep2 is not just aespa’s lore, each scene has deep meaning specially Karina’s part. Kpop fans wants Idol to be perfect and they think they owned them, one mistake and they will cancel you, fake rumors and ppl won’t believe you. They don’t have freedom. It showed the struggle and life of an Idol. • If you noticed, Karina animated version is the only one that’s wearing a "school uniform" unlike the other member. She got a huge pressure & expectation since predebut. Not to mention those false rumors. This shows that idols are humans too. They aren't some holograms or robots- that were created to be pretty and only sing & dance on stage. They're people who've worked hard to get where they are. It seems that each of the girls had their own battles with the Black Mamba that relate irl 1) Karina with the hate since predebut & being buried by high expectations from society and wanting to not let anyone down 2) Winter with the doubts for the talent that surrounds her and the hatred from society 3) Giselle and the never ending mocking that she receives and having all eyes to her, waiting for her next mistake 4) Ningning and the hatred and dismissive comments she receive by being herself I believe episode 2 accurately depicts the life of them as an idol, including the expectations, difficulties, and hatred they endure on a daily basis.

It has many similarities with the novel Wizard of Oz.. Naevis as the good queen Glinda and Black Mamba the Evil Witch of the West and the 4 adventurers the Tin Man, the Lion, the Scarecrow and Dorothy with all their fear of problems basically representing the aespa girls who also deal with personal issues. And Karina is holding that novel at 11:26.

I only believe in your react, thank you for reacting to this episode. Yes, aespa member were trapped in hallucination quest inside that glass cube. But finally they can find the way out. I think Karina did it first with her 'rocket puncher' break that glass cube. And I believe the next episode will be ep 3 "Savage" as the title of their MV Savage. We can't wait for the next episode, really.

i saw this video on my recommended, so this is my first time watching your videos. I thoroughly enjoyed. I like your interpretation for aespa's lore, interpretation before this video, and interpretation during this video. this was like watching a movie. and i like the message especially when ae-karina asked karina "who do you think people will like between you and me" since the ae was made to be the best version of the aespa members. it has a message about social media, which i think is so important especially in this day and age because we all have our own insecurities that we don't show on social media and what people fear about showing themselves on social media, especially about anonymouse people judging them.

EP2 is talking about their weakness, worries? My conclusion: Karina : expectation of her perfection. Everyone said that Karina is reliable, and Karina said about her worries , which is that the ae-karina is perfect , but real Karina can't be always so perfect. Giselle: criticism of her appearance and . EP 1, Giselle is enjoying the camera and dreams to be a super star, but ep 2 she is fear of the camera,people have been attacking her figure and her appearance . Everyone is watching you, everyone wants to replace you. Winter: misunderstanding of her by others. Saying that she had a bad personality or that she "bully" her teammates, so she turned around and wanted to run away. i think this is also why her eyes turning black? cause Naevis say "never turning back", she didn't run forward but back？ Ningning: Hate comments from all over the Internet (the knife under the keyboard) + nationality controversy (the blood in the video,there also some voice saying "Chinese" in behind). Everyone knows ningning loves "surfing" on internet, all the cute emoji turning bad because of the people attacking her through internet. Last but not least, I'm guessing that Naevis scarified herself to save the girls, as the lyrics in the SAVAGE MV (i know your, scarifies~~) and also, she said that she can't step out/ leaving from FLAT, but in the end of the video, NAEVIS is at the train station :(((((( That's all from me.
