Hell aimee! All designers youve mentioned are truly geniuses but i think you left out the ultimate wildflower of fashion in the early 2018-20s that is VIRGIL ABLOH

Always enjoy your videos! I think Karl deserves a some credit for the Baguette bc of the Zucca design, but the credit for the design of the Baguette bag goes to Silvia Venturini. Good to look out for pioneering women who are often forgotten in the shadows of men.
@LoveLuxebyAimee2 жыл бұрын
Silvia was good thus the power peekaboo still holds to date. However, let me just correct this a little-- the baguette was the brainchild of two geniuses Karl and Silvia. It was a concept of Silvia 3 yrs after her being the head of accessories. Karl started in 1965 🥰

Hi Aimee, thanks for this informative video! Just wondering why LV didn’t make the cut as being iconic? Alsoc correct me of I’m wrong, with the puffer bag, didn’t Saint Laurent come out with them prior to the Bottega Venetta cassette version? Thanks again.
@LoveLuxebyAimee2 жыл бұрын
That is per decade beginning post war of the 50s. Lv speedy was in the 30s. 😊 definitely won’t make the cut hehe. For Saint Laurent they never really made a big wave w their puffy bags, right? Same w the bubble quilt that Chanel made. This episode is dedicated to those that were so remarkable no one can forget them and have made their mark in fashion. 😊

What about the iconic Petite Malle introduced back in 2014 by Nicolas Ghesquière?
@vjmendoza91772 жыл бұрын
Celine Nano Luggage was during Phoebe Philo’s iconic time. Hedi used to be with Dior Homme but is now head of Celine.
@LoveLuxebyAimee2 жыл бұрын
My team unfortunately didn’t edit that as I remembered Phoebe Philo actually designed that alongside the trio bag. It was only as of late that hedi did wonders for celine and am still so into the brand that hedi actually got stuck in my head! 🤣😂 Hedi stayed w Saint Laurent after Dior homme then Vacarello took over when he went to Celine 😘
@vjmendoza91772 жыл бұрын
@@LoveLuxebyAimee I would agree that Hedi proved many die hard celine fans wrong and made Celine buzz worthy again. I am excited for Daniel Lees tenure at Burberry.

1990's was special too I think because the lady dior was introduced in the 90s right? Definitely not the 80s.. specifically the year 1995 when Princess Diana was gifted with it.
@LoveLuxebyAimee2 жыл бұрын
Watch it again. Boxy bag no name w DIOR initials hanging was introduced in the 80s that was it. 90’s was the birth of the term “lady dior” It was in 1997 when Princess Diana was seen carrying the bag 🥰. Vogue published an article about it. In 1994, Gianfranco ferre debuted this bag with no particular name. 1995, was when former First lady of 🇫🇷 France gifted her w one for the inauguration of grand palais? If I’m not mistaken. 🥰 28 yrs ago it was just called the “chouchou” ❤️
