LP Claude hated Athanasia a lot so (0:36) he would not feel bad for mistreating her or seeing her cry. As Luv-Obito stated, LP Claude doesn’t wear the robe type of clothing but instead his formal emperor attires. The only reason he wears the robe-like clothing is because he liked to match with Diana but since his LP counterpart had already forgotten about Diana due to his use of black magic, he just wears his formal attires. It was stated in both the novel and the manhwa that Claude already knew Jennette wasn’t his daughter but loved her anyways. That led to Athanasia (the wmmap one) thinking that Claude must have loved Penelope a lot since Claude accepted Jennette despite knowing that she was the child born between his brother and his cheating ex-fiancé

Actually Jennette just helped him with the headache that's why he didn't do anything about her also he never really loved her-

@@satansbbg he did love her though. If he only used her to calm his headaches caused by his use of black magic and Athanasia’s mana, he wouldn’t have executed Athanasia for “poisoning” Jennette. At the beginning of both the manhwa and the novel, the scene where LP Athanasia begged Claude for his love before her execution, she asked that if she was more like Jennette, would Claude have held her in his arms and call out her name warmly like he did with Jennette. Claude wouldn’t do either of those things if he didn’t love her. There were instances in both the novel and the manhwa where Athanasia thought/talked about LP Claude’s love for Jennette based on what she read from the LP novel. He did love Jennette, it’s facts

jeanette wouldnt have been mean when she found out she’s not the child of claude, she was crying in the arms of ijekiel after she died, i think she also tried to defend her, but i forgot the near-ending of the story, and after claude knew the truth, he didnt care at all, mentioned in the story. claude also knew jeanette was a child made from penelope and anastacius. and, jeanette surprisingly didnt inherit the personality of her father nor her mother even though they were both,..hm, seductive and evil? you might say anastacius’s original personality was good, but she was made out of black magic, but afterall, she is the main character.

I dont know if this is really true but I have seen people say that the Jennette in the novel is different from the one in the Manhwa, like personality wise. It is apparently the reason why she is shown like an evil person.
