Hellooo it's been a while~
Where did the time go? I can’t believe we’re already halfway through 2024 ๑°ㅁ°๑
Self reflection of my first half of 2024: I was quite busy with moving and traveling here and there. Amidst of that whole chaos, I came across 선재 업고 튀어 (Lovely Runner) which I didn’t expect myself to be so invested in after being an avid kdrama fan for a long time!! I love how it showed the characters’ stages of life in their 10s, 20s, and 30s; it’s refreshing in a way since I don’t think a lot of kdramas cover all age aspects to show the character’s growth based on the ones I had watched (i.e. childhood to adulthood, high school student to adult). What made this kdrama feel even more special to me was that Mondays and Tuesdays became the days that I looked forward to the most during its airtime (but not anymore lol)-it truly lived up to the nickname of curing the monday blues (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و I can keep talking about how great LR is, but I’ll stop here ◡̈
Because it holds a special place in my heart, I made the video of its OST playlist (btw all the songs are AMAZING) so that I can reminisce back at this moment in the future ♡

What’s your favorite OST in this drama if you MUST pick one? I can easily pick my TOP 5 but just choosing one is hard…my favorite would be ‘A Day’. When I listened to it and read the lyrics, the character I instantly thought of was Sol; I think the lyrics reflect on Sol's perspective after her final/third time slip and what she went through from the consequences of her action for the love of her life. Nevertheless, I enjoy listening to all the songs :) Ok your turn!

私は、「gift」が好きです。 残念ながら歌詞が分かりませんが… 成熟した女性となったソルが、ソンジェの無事や幸せを祈りながらも、深い悲しみを抱えていることが、この曲を聴いていると、何故か胸に込み上げてきます。 そして、ようやく記憶を取り戻したソンジェと再会するシーンで流れていた時は、100倍増くらい2人の思いが溢れてきて涙が止まりませんでした。
