A lot of people don't realise that although chihuahuas are not physically abused, they are often emotionally abused.. and THIS is why its so important to start grooming early. She was perfectly behaved. It's ok to be scared and tremble because she's cold and/or a little scared, but biting is never acceptable. Small dogs still need training and are still expected to be appropriate members of society. If you don't have the desire/drive to train your dog and get them acclimated to situations they may need to be in without you like grooming, don't have a dog. If you insist on having a dog, don't bring them anywhere that can put someone else in danger and don't be surprised if you start to lose friends or family members because they can't tolerate your inability to train.

I worked in a grooming salon for several years and it was most often the tiny dogs that gave an issue because they're owners didn't feel the need to train them.

I think these tiny dogs are heartbreakers. I love them soo much. But they are not for everyone because they are very fragile and need so much more than a normal sized dogs. It’s frightening to think of them in the wrong home no matter how loving that home it. These break easily!

I love these tiny little chihuahuas. I have one myself. This is my second in the Chihuahua breed. The one previous to that was a Pikachi. Absolutely love that breed. Just far too expensive. But I wanted to ask you. Where do you get such tiny chihuahuas. I'm in Pittsburgh. No such luck here with those.
