Good morning everyone! I hope you had a good long weekend! I wanted to do this video for those that may be new to my channel and don't know my journey on how and why I started working from home. I also wanted to reiterate the best jobs for those who already work full time, because it can really be hard to find something on the side that works around your schedule. These are also the best jobs for the work from home transition. This video is long, but it's filled with gems. Thank you all for watching! 😀

Thank you for this video! I’ve been working from home full-time in tech since 2022. After multiple layoffs and toxic work environments, I am wanting to take more control over my work life and think having multiple part-time roles is ideal. It creates greater flexibility and often less demanding. I’ll be putting these tips to use!

I don't like math, but it really is about the math as far as adding up how much you need to make it and how much you can make. When they match, you can quit your traditional job. But keep in mind with these micro entrepreneurial type jobs that you should always be willing to replace a client that drops out. That's just the way business is.

Great information! Im afraid of a 1099 job, as this is the only thing that has responded. I just don't know what to expect, and to have the responsibility for taxes can be frightening, to me at least.
@lovelylasean5 ай бұрын
I understand. It’s really not that bad. Many times the tax obligation will be very low due to the amount of write offs you have as a self employed contractor. Plus, if you already get some sort of a refund, your self employment taxes will simply reduce your refund amount. Companies send you a 1099 and you file it with your taxes. It’s pretty straightforward, but of course if you’ve never done it, it can be intimidating.
