Will definitely look into these recs! Hot take: I have read Penelope Douglass’s Bully, but I didn’t quite enjoy it. It was a fun read, but I had some issues with the plot. For me, it seemed like a toxic relationship with the guy bullying her while the girl is somehow excusing his behavior because of her lust for him. Didn’t really sit right for me even though I love a bad boy-good girl trope. But with this story, it seemed more like a bad boy- notsogreat girl combo

I feel like you’d love DEAR ENEMY by KRISTEN CALLIHAN. It’s an enemies to lovers story, kind of a childhood friends to lovers story as well (the main character’s sister was dating him until the end of high school, and she always hung out with them). It’s my absolute favorite romance 😍 And I feel like it’s underrated, so please read it and get everyone else on board as well 😂

I have a question. Why is it rare for people to fall in love with and hook up with their childhood friends? Most married couples first met each other when they were adults, and a large portion of married couples first met each other when they were teenagers, and only a small portion of married couples first met each other when they were children (under the age of 13 years old).

Hi. I just wanted to recommend some great books if you like mafia romances. There is a six book series by Sophie Lark that starts with Brutal Prince. I’ve read all but the last one and so far they’ve been really good. They can be read as standalones and they don’t have cliffhangers. I would also definitely recommend Beautiful Carnage and Beautiful Savage by Caroline Peckham. Those two books should be read in order. While Beautiful Carnage was good, I absolutely loved Beautiful Savage. I’m praying she’s gonna write some additional books for that series. Anyway, the books were so good and I just wanted to share. Are there any mafia romances you’d recommend?
