Riley and Maya remind me so much of me and my girlfriend.. we are best friends, then we had the same romantic feelings for eachother.. it took a while for us to start dating..but once my band director said.. "Love is investment.. you need to invest a part of your heart, a part of your mind, and your time for something or somebody you love.." and.. making that investment for my love for my girlfriend is one of the best investments I've ever made..

I miss girl meets world so much 😭 in second grade I had a bestfriend her name was maya, and my name is Riley we were so close and maya and me use to sing together. It was so fun we drifted in 4th grade and don’t talk anymore but we use to talk about this show all the time. We use to imitate somethings they did like the “stop it.” Thing. I miss being her friend but we have our separate paths and different friends and yeah. I can’t say that I don’t miss being her bestie ❤️

I have always watched friendship theme TV shows since I was a kid. Growing with the idea that "I was meant to be with my half bff lost in this world" for example Hannah Montana and Lilly, Cyd and Shelby, Max and Caroline, Lindy and Jasmine, Mal and Evie, Monica and Rachel, Riley and Maya, Carly and Sam and now Alexa and Katie etc (repeated the blond and brunette, the silly vs the smart, the tomboy vs the girly, jing yang, the rude vs the kind, telepathic, finishing each other sentences, that photos a lot of photos, the antisocial and weird vs the popular and beloved or both rare and twins pattern) and it feels so cliché. But to be sincere I think that the world out there is dangerous, lost, bad/good, big ... In real life is pretty much difficult to find someone you can trust and be yourself without doubt. Social media this days have is destroying the innocent and magic to know someone new. I have see friends who grew up together and now they do not talk to each other and others who are continuing building that relationship. I can say that I have friends but a "best friend" for me is this show cutting all the weird and exagerated treatment and overwhelming. "Be there for you when you are there for me" "listen and laugh with me" "be our fully self" "give endless love and support" 'bad days be good days because of your company" "eat, discuss and be against the world but together". Maybe it's so dreamy and "to good to be true" but I wish one day I can receive that. 🌹🌹 "A true friendship" "My soulmate"🌹🌹
