I’m so tired of celebrities going through like fast fashion and only wearing pieces once or twice for the trend and when the trend is over they toss it out. This is so refreshing. You’ve saved for so many years pieces that are timeless. The designer who badmouthed you about wearing that shoe over and over is just so out of touch with reality. The story about the designer who always criticized her about the nude heels is my favorite bevause Heart didn't give him the satisfaction of bending in to his criticisms. I remember watching Heart's interview maybe 6, 7 years ago about how she's into classic, timeless pieces and investing in items that you will still wear 10 years down the line. I can relate to Miss Heart about the fact that fashion is self expression and about how you feel. I felt a different kind of happiness when I'm dressing the way I want. When I dress-up even though these dress are from my Lola and Mama, I felt empowered, confident, and I felt like I can take on the world. Sometimes I felt like, my clothes really affect how I feel.
