Why can't leopards adapt and learn to live together like lions? Their odds would be better. I've seen male cheetahs in Maasai mara forming coalitions.

Leopards are naturally loners and its worked for them for thousands of years. Heck their solitary/secret life style also made them successful in countries such as India. Some leopards even go into cities ar night and kill their live stock/dogs. And escape quietly. I think ita them being solitary and secret that made them one of the most widespread big cats. But yeah I so see how forming groups could be beneficial. But going from that transition from solitary to social would be a little hard
