How to Install Tempered Glass Screen Scratch Guard Protector For Apple iPad

Thanks ...I watched several iPad screen protector install videos but this video does the best job explaining how to use the tape pieces to create a flexible hinge for easy and perfect installation. Many of the other videos didn’t even mention making a tape hinge. My kit did NOT come with tape so thanks to this video I used 5 pieces of painter’s masking tape, each 1.5 inch wide x 4 inches long. More tape pieces the better to create a secure hinge. Before cleaning & before removing the film on the screen protector, test your tape hinge a couple times to see the action of flipping over the screen protector. If you don’t like where the screen protector ends up, (example, not perfectly centred over the home button), then adjust the tape pieces by starting over. Again, this hinge test must be done prior to removing the film on the screen protector. Wash hands not shown here but you’re forgiven. My kit’s wet alcohol pad was dried-up right out of the pack.... likely a good thing because I used a quality eye glass cleaner solution and the soft cloth that came with the eye glasses which is lint free. I used a super powerful flashlight to check for lint & dry screen. Other videos cover off the screen cleaning process a bit better. With film removed, the screen protector Install went slow & smooth & perfectly. 😁. I had a badly cracked screen so I had to push several times with a finger to get the protector to stick along the cracks. Two main reasons for a successful install 1) super clean iPad screen, no lint. 2) the masking tape hinge idea I got from watching this video. Thanks again. 👍😍

Hi actually just needed to use two hinge stickers on one side and the 3rd hinge sticker on the other side, so you don’t have to use your hands when sticking it on and folding it.

Am extremely impressed with your guide. No wasted chat. You just got on with it. Very clear and concise. I watched it few times then applied the screen pausing as I went along. I wondered what the little guide stickers were about Applied and no bubbles. Tip ... I put the mini iPad on a slightly damp wash cloth to hold it steady 🙏

That was great. I liked this technique. I got mine on evenly but had to move it a few times to get it positioned correctly. It had a couple of bubbles but have since gone away. Your way looked much easier. If this one breaks I’ll know what to do next time. 👍🏾

JTech screen protector for ipad 7 install, just go to JTech video to show you how to install. This guy cleans before putting the alignment tabs on. I don't recommend this, put alignment tabs on first and then clean.
