It's always amazing, on your other songs too, how your voice manages to sound so clear and bright when needed, while being typically so rich, warm and velvety. :O But on this one the "clear and bright" capability is especially well displayed and it makes one wonder how many things there are that you can't do with that voice of yours...

I normally find that Bright Eyes songs translate badly when sung sweetly, since it loses the pain apparent in Conor's voice. However, this time I would make an exception. You managed to translate song to a very different style and make it your own, and it's almost impossible to overstate how difficult that is for a Bright Eyes song (probably the main reasons there aren't already tonnes of commercial covers). This is up there with what Jeff Buckley did for a certain Leonard Cohen song...
