The old climax ended with the implied murders of Gadha and Roshan by the thugs. Many viewers (particularly Malayali viewers and Telugu viewers) realized this when they watched this film during its initial release. The film is completely finished by the end. The title at the end of this film (Original Malayalam Version) can be translated as "The Journey from Friendship to Romantic relationship begins..." indicating in the final scene that Roshan and Gadha are now living happily as "romantic couples" (implying their happy married life) with the support from their friends. The title was changed to "Few Months Later" in Telugu dubbed version seen in the above video.
