So happy to see an honest review that shows the dog hair. I have two huskey mix dogs that shed like crazy. Curious how everything holds up to dogs playing and jumping on the couch. Do you see any snags or pulls from nails? Mine like to dig and throw pillows everywhere. They are good dogs just get rough in play. I really like that the covers can be washed.
@techgooch3 жыл бұрын
So my dogs are VERY rough with playing on and off of the couch, and so far no snags or anything! I am planning on a 1 year video since we have had it over a year now, and I will try to add a video to show how rough they are. Good idea!

Please may I ask you what was your purchase price and for how many seats? I'm looking to get it too
@barddzen Жыл бұрын
@@stephaniesanders8223 I’ll just say, expect to pay thousands for what you’d consider a love seat, chair, and 3 seater couch. Go into this knowing you’re getting options, configurability, quality and it’s literally the last set you’ll ever buy. If these aren’t your goals, I’d say look elsewhere. We’ve moved multiple times and the configurability alone saved us thousands in NOT having to buy other furniture. Grand kids spilled milk and we didn’t know it until it started to smell, we took off the covers, washed, and back to new.

We get three super sacks to replace our sectional. This was before they had a couch. Twenty years later and the denim cover still looks like new. When they put the sound into the couch and we needed a new sound system we looked at getting that. Life happened and we didn't get one. Now that the sectional has double in price things have changed and it's time to get one. Like you said. You can get parts if you need to. And going to the store so that you know what parts you need is key.

I got one of these a few years ago and got standard fill..is it just me or is this couch like sitting at a 90 degree angle no matter how you organize it? I think the back pillows are just way too firm and I can never get comfortable. Pretty sure the one I sat on in the store was the filling that was 4x the price. I was hoping someone had a solution. Deep seating may be what I should do but I’d hate to buy additional sides just to change that around. Is there a work around without changing the sides? Can I rip some filling out if the back pillows or is that a really bad idea lol? I don’t even use the back pillows that came with. I put some throw pillows on it in shallow mode or use nothing at all and it’s more comfortable than the ones provided which is quite sad considering the price.
@techgooch3 жыл бұрын
Interesting, I lounge quite well on mine, and I find the standard full to be quite soft, especially in the back pillows. My seat I used almost all the time is a deep seat.

Any thoughts on them discontinuing this line in the future? From what I understand they now sell "Series 6" sectionals whereas a few years ago they sold a differently sized "Series 5". So when they change to "Series 7" you will no longer be able to buy new covers or pieces. Or am I confused about this?
@techgooch3 жыл бұрын
The series 5 vs 6 was the width of the sides, 5" vs 6". So the 6" made for a larger sectional. I think in the end after they created the series 6, they probably sold very few series 5 units.

@techgooch3 жыл бұрын
I LOVE the deep seating. Eventually when we add another sectional in our basement, I may change the rest of the seats in my living room to deep seating as well. I love the lounge feeling!
@tampatammylynn27452 жыл бұрын
Replying for anyone who has this question… it is the SAME rectangle seat base, just turned the other direction so the 29” is across the back and the 35” is front to back for a deeper seat. There IS an option to choose a “Deep Side” for the back and arms so their widths match up; but you can actually configure this many many ways without requiring the option Deep Sides (price is the same for either). The challenge is that if you use the standard Sides, with Deep Seating, the lines don’t match up for where your backs, pillows, and seats fit together. The pillows across the back cover it, so it’s not a functional issue, but an aesthetic one for some people. The seats & back/sides still hook together firmly with the clips just fine. Our issue with turning the seats into the Deep Seating configuration is that the back pillows are then too wide and you have to cram them in. But the “shallow seating” isn’t deep enough for us to be comfy, so we HAVE to use either a seat as an ottoman, or a 2nd seat as a chaise configuration to sit the way we prefer without feeling like we’re getting pushed off the couch.
