As a friendly non-sequitur… For any who are thinking about a DIY Halloween Costume - I’m going as the broken glass ceiling. Will be wearing the Harris uniform - chucks, skinny jeans, a blazer and pearls, and I’m cutting up cds to look like broken glass. The blazer will have a large sign in back - “CAUTION Glass Everywhere. “ And I also have a clear umbrella that will have the glass hanging from it. My older sister told me we had an older brother who my parents murdered and buried in the backyard because he didn't listen to them. She was watching me by herself for the first time, so I guess she decided fear would motivate me to behave. She even said that they were removing the tree in our backyard because they needed to move the body that was buried under it. It's honestly the funniest thing she's ever done, even if it made me cry at the time because I was 5. Sometimes childhood trauma is hilarious in retrospect.
