This is me. I first came to A.A. in 1987 (when I was 25). In that time I have had periods of sobriety from anywhere to 5 years to 5 minutes. (I am currently drunk now, but not as drunk as I would LIKE to be!). I am always caught in the in between hell of giving myself good reasons/opportunities to relapse and good reasons/opportunities to stay sober! God's grace will be the only way out!

I know the feeling. Before i finally got sober time I was always taking 2 steps back for every step I took. To this day (5 yrs in the 26th) i just take it day by day. Putting faith in God like u said. I wish u nothing but the best and hell if u keep trying it will eventually stick. God bless!
