黃太照顧年長的父母無微不至，但她越來越憤怒父母始終只是愛錫弟弟，重男輕女，對她為他們所做的一切都不為所動，沒有半點欣賞。為怕失去父母的關注和重視，黃太更著力照顧兩老，為弟弟承擔更多的責任，弟弟則變得越來越無能和不負責任。
