The biggest difference is the high level of "last stand", 4.5 seconds of immunity is crazy. In this game, the "last stand" is one of the best items to have. But it's cost is high. There are 5000.00 gold plus 240 million silver to upgrade.

Strider is great, I have one in 12mk1 on Ember (mk2) and shredders (mk1). But - an important note - to play a strider well, beat areses, ao juns and others you have to have a good device you play WR on and good intetnet connection as well. There's a very distinct difference in how you run your robots on a PC and on a smartphone. You hardly reach that accuracy and promtness of turns on a phone. That's why I'am thinking of replacing my strider - my device is quite old and slow, it lags often and therefore there's no that accuracy and sharpness needed to run a strider well enough.

Great video Manni! For the next one I would suggest the inquisitor. The inquisitor is the same price of the strider and you get a stealth jump as well as 5 whole seconds of stealth when landing. The inquisitor also packs a punch with 1 heavy and 2 medium slots. I believe it is another very viable budget bot that you should try out!

I find weapons like viper and avenger don't work on strider as you need time to deal lots of damage with them and you cannot aim and dash at the same time. Manni can as he has a emulator. Exodus and halo do a lot of damage in a short period of time for a quick knockout before escaping.

Who says you need it? I even said you dont need it. But its an option to make the setup more powerful. Its useful to have good variety of options that make a low budget robot more powerful if you end up getting an anti control from a chest or whatever.

Manni please don't forget the silver you need to upgrade this stuff. For example the Viper costs MUCH more than the avenger to upgrade. For lvl12 the avenger is half the price of the viper. Please don't forget this and maybe say it in the next video how many the weapon upgrades will cost.

@Laurence D hmm yes that's true. But some weapons are sooo expensive that i don't call them cheap. Corona or igniter cost 170mil. Silver to make it lvl 12 and that's really expensive. So dont look only on the silver you need to build them also look how many silver you need to make them powerful.

Thanks for all the work and all the great uploads. I have followed U for a bit now and learned a lot from U'r videos. In this video I must say I don't agree fully on the setup on the Strider. Halo might by "cheap" to make in workshop, but is one of the most expensive small weapons in the game to upgrade. 45 Mill Ag to lvl 12 ( only Marquess and Blaze cost more. ) Viper has the same price and are more potent as it should be for a heavy weapon. My points is the silver the halo earns is either the robots abilities (Blitz-Gust/halo) or the other weapons there support the Halo (Natacha-Halo-avenger). And the Strider is a total beast.. For me it's like a power full MC. Not all can control it. U do it to perfection. So for me that setup will for most players not gain the Ag value they put in it. Thanks for all the fun hours U have delivered to my screen.

If you plan on using your strider as a beacon runner with an Ecu shield, the Calamity-Spark version ist very effective. In that case would you still use the Viper or go for something else?

Hey Manni, I'd like to see you play one of my worst nightmare-builds. A Loki with Phase Shift and Last Stand, Pilot Skill optimized for speed, durability and health regeneration. You won't need any weapons, so mount some Arbalests for the lolz Just counter QR with phase shift and be a very annoying beacon capper.

Hey Manni I just got an ember from a gold chest, my plan is to make a Mercury with halo and ember, should I make a strider instead? btw I mostly play TDM, Domination and sometimes FFA, not beacon rush cuz of death squads and Ares My hangar is : Trident fury, Fenrir, Nemesis, Spectre and Ao Jun I’m gonna swap out the fury for either mercury or strider because I want a fun to use bot My only question is whether to make a strider or a mercury( they will both have ember and halo ) Thanks Manni and sorry, it’s a lot of writing

I have a suggestion, I’d take the LS and anticontrol off for this because it’s low budget, just because ik you said you don’t need anticontrol to kill ares especially if the ares have LS and AC because a full lockdown ares can lock you in one shot

How do you use avengers on them? I always find it takes too long to kill an enemy and due to low health get wrecked. So I use exodus halo ECU(against Ares) to do a lot of damage in a short period of time before escaping.

Manni do you have any videos on rescuing old meta bots? I started playing a year ago and have a bunch of bots like Griffin, Leo, Natasha, Doc, Raijin and Fujin. Can they be competitive in high leagues or are they outdated now? I test them in master league but they all go down very quickly.
