I'm also addicted to budget tactical gear. I just love being able to try out different things. A lot of it is made way better than i thought.

Thanks for the comment! It's great to hear from another gear addict lol. It certainly is fun to be able to try all these different kinds of clone gear to if anything figure out what will work best when buying the legit Gucci version. Quality wise I am very pleasantly surprised with the quality and if anything it disproves the narrative that "airsoft/ knockoff gear is trash" that some guys like to push.

The fact that Leslie Nielsen and George Kennedy were serious actors at one point in their careers.

Thanks for the comment! Right!! The way Leslie Nelson played comedy straight is iconic! He makes the most absurd things in movies just seem like a normal casual thing.

Tried a drinking game where I took a shot everytime "all things considered" was said I died of alcohol poisoning
@TacticalNewbie1012 ай бұрын
Hahahahaha!!! That is hilarious! Could be worse though.... For some of my videos if you drank every time I said "ummm". You would likely have consumed enough alcohol to give a small village alcohol poisoning. Thanks for the comment! It gave me a good laugh!

I will definitely take this into high consideration for a future video. Just gotta get my hands on a decent yet affordable pair of nods.

Shouldnt the first one sit lower , the bottom look high exposed organs, or they all like that

Thanks for the comment! The Plate Carrier I assume you're referring to (The PETAC GEAR V5 muliticam) has medium plate bags for both front and back. So it fits 10x12 or 9.5x12.5 SAPI plates. On my frame 6'2 250lbs it definitely does fit a bit small and lacks full coverage. It was one of the main reasons I stepped up to a large plate bag (10.25x13.25) when I bought my Ferro Concepts Slickster just recently. The Large plate bag is definitely a better fit compared to the medium but I am thinking that maybe the XL bags that fit 11x14 plates might offer me the best coverage for my frame. So the quick answer is yes! The bottom is a bit high and the fit overall is small on me. I did adjust the shoulder straps after this video to provide a bit better of a fit but it is definitely small on me overall! Thanks again for the comment!

I have the yakeda. It’s a terrible carrier. I used it a few times in the field and had a ton of hotspots
@TacticalNewbie101 Жыл бұрын
Yea you definitely get what you pay for with the Yakeda carrier. But for someone who is looking for a super affordable plate carrier that basically has everything you need at the bare basic level it fits that purpose. I personally view it as a good "starter" carrier but then again with some of the stuff that KRYDEX and TACTICON offer YAKEDA may not be the best starter option after all.

How many price
@TacticalNewbie1017 ай бұрын
Thanks for the comment. The prices are linked to each of the individual Plate Carrier's "Low Budget Loadout" videos on my channel. Feel free to take a look but keep in mind that the prices are specific to the time the video was made and published. So prices for some items may have changed.

Just stop saying um. Um. Um
@TacticalNewbie1016 ай бұрын
Thanks for the comment. I agree, I do say "um" a lot and am working on it. I don't chop up and edit my intro and outro but instead just kinda wing it in one unedited recording. The commentary portion I try my best to limit filler words like "umm" but it's a work in progress. "Ummm", "uh" and "like" are super common filler words and most people do it a lot without noticing. The use of filler words generally becomes super obvious to most people when doing public speeches, interviews or commentary. Public speaking or even speaking on camera or audio like anything is something that generally is mastered over time. I'm certainly working on it as my channel grows. Thanks for the critique.
