The Envox BB3 is a really nice solution. I do know it's 900 Euro fully kitted out, though.

For one moment I had no idea what you were talking about, then I looked it up...seems like an interesting power supply. There's a 26-page EEVBlog Forum thread about it (complete with some schematics), I think I'm going to read the whole thing. I'll let you in on a secret, I'm working on something very similar although on a smaller scale - a "modular" power supply that consists of "slices", each slice is independently controllable with 30V 1A output with true 0V 0A and CC/CV. I'm aiming for it to be very compact, with a custom 3D-printed case. Of course, completely open-source! I also wanted to avoid using fancy parts, so it's going to be all jellybean, parts like the LM358, UC3843 and so on. Falstad simulation if you're interested: tinyurl.com/2nyxjy5t
